Es gibt keinen Grund zur Eile – der gesamte Besuch durch die Höhlen dauert etwa 2 Stunden und gibt viel Zeit, um bequem in Ihrem eigenen Tempo zu gehen. Wenn Sie oder jemand in Ihrer Gruppe eingeschränkte Mobilität oder Schwierigkeiten mit Treppen hat, empfehlen wir, dies vor der Buchung zu berücksichtigen, da Rollstuhlfahrer innerhalb der Höhlen nicht verfügbar sind. Für gesunde Erwachsene und Senioren in durchschnittlichem Zustand macht das langsame Gehen und kurze Pausen die Route voll beherrschbar.

The tour lasts just over one hour and there are are many steps. Employees with torches light your way. The stalactites and stalagmites are impressive though lit only with yellow light. After the downhill section you are seated in a large auditorium in front of the lakes where a boat carrying a string quartet and pianist play as they are rowed around. The concert lasts about 10 minutes. You can then choose to return via the bridge or across the lake. There was some confusion as to who went where but the boats hold about 16 people so the queue moved quickly though the ride itself was only a couple of minutes. It was beautiful and worth doing. No photos are allowed during the concert but are allowed at all other times so beware of people stopping suddenly or posing for selfies. Compared to other caves (eg Gibraltar) the lighting was unimpressive but the concert and boat made up for it. I expected a larger and more impressive series of lakes so maybe expectations and reality didn’t match!

We left 35 minutes late... Exceptional experience. I had never attended a music show in a cave before. It was magical. I would have liked to film or take photos during the show, but that is not allowed. Since there were about 500 people, I was unable to take the boat tour at the end, and I would have really liked to do that. Otherwise, we would have arrived late to the bus for the return trip.

Excellent guide but it was a bit monotonous having to listen to everything in 4 different languages. I would have liked to learn more about the caves and Spain, but basically 75% of what the guide said we could not understand. Bus was very clean and the AC worked well.

An unbelievable natural gem, surreal cave and very well managed , bus tour was smooth and well organized. Definitely worth it. After the tour we walked the city area around the cathedral, the restaurant and cafe options were amazing.

Beautiful cave but the staff was not pleasant; there was no time to admire because you always had to rush, too many people to enjoy the boat ride, an activity to do by yourself but not on an excursion, as you go around the hotels to pick up people!!!!!!!!!! But they do not tell you this when booking at the hotels!!!!!!

The Caves are a must see. This booking was ok. Basically, it is the transportation via bus to the caves and 90 minutes away. I expected a little more, hoping for an overview of the sites along the way, and perhaps additional stops. That is not what this is.

However, after checking our records, we have been unable to locate a booking matching your description, which makes us believe you may have travelled with another supplier offering Caves of Drach excursions through Tripadvisor or Viator. What you describe is essentially a shuttle transfer to the attraction and back. That is not how Nofrills Excursions operates. Our excursions are designed around the customer experience, not just transportation. On our tours, guests are accompanied by a professional local guide who explains the places passed along the route, the history of the caves, how the visit works, what to expect inside, useful tips and practical information to help guests get the most from the experience. In addition, our guides organise all tickets, assist guests throughout the excursion, explain where to go upon arrival, accompany the group to the entrance, and are waiting again at the exit to help with facilities, meeting points, the return coach and any questions. Guests can simply relax and enjoy the day without worrying about queues, logistics or availability of tickets. It is true that our half-day excursion does not include additional sightseeing stops, because it is specifically designed as a half-day experience focused on the Caves of Drach, the classical music concert and Lake Martel boat ride. Full-day excursions offered by other companies may include additional stops, but they are different products altogether. For future visitors, we would encourage checking carefully which supplier is operating the excursion, as experiences can vary significantly.
