Wenn Sie den Zuschlag für die Kathedrale nicht gekauft haben, haben Sie Freizeit. Weiterfahrt zum alten Justizpalast und zum Rathaus. Wir werden unseren Spaziergang durch das alte jüdische Viertel mit seinen engen Gassen fortsetzen, um die Kirche St. Tomé zu betreten und zu besuchen, mit dem sehr berühmten Gemälde von El Greco "El entierro del Conde Orgaz". Dann besuchen wir die alte Synagoge der Heiligen Maria la Blanca, die als Symbol für das Zusammenleben der "Drei Kulturen" erhalten bleibt.

Santa María la Blanca ist ein Tempel in der spanischen Stadt Toledo. Das 1180 als Synagoge erbaute Gebäude, das 211 Jahre lang als solche fungierte, wurde nach dem Pogrom von 1391 enteignet und in eine Kirche umgewandelt. Derzeit gehört es der katholischen Kirche, aber es gibt keinen Kult darin . Es ist für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich und fungiert als Museum oder Zentrum, in dem sowohl kulturelle als auch pädagogische Aktivitäten stattfinden.

We were excited to join this tour & I paid the $122+ for my son & I to participate. All communication said the tour begins at 9 am. We arrived at the determined spot only to be told that the bus was about to leave and that we were supposed to be there by 8:15-8:30. Nowhere in any of the communications I received mentioned this. The person behind the counter asked to see the voucher when I told them that there was nothing that told us what time to arrive. It took them a little bit to actually find it themselves. When I said I wanted a refund, they said I had to cancel 24 hours in advance. No apologies. No offer to have the bus wait for us. Just smug indifference. We have done over a dozen tours in multiple countries. In the cases where we couldn't find the group, the operator has called to direct us. In one case, we were too jetlagged & received a message to see if we were joining. We wound up rescheduling and paying for another night. For a tour operator, the lack of concern & wish to make things right means I will look closer at who is actually running the tour. Certainly will never go through this one again. The lack of professionalism for a hospitality based industry is unforgivable.
Oscar was a fantastic tour guide. I have done dozens of tours in Spain, and he is one of the best. Mario also a great driver.

Excellent job by the team of Oscar (the guide) and Pedro (the driver). Toledo is a unique place in the history of World culture, and the half-day trip highlighted most of its important elements. The presentation of our guide was in fluent Spanish and English and was at a very high intellectual level, full of important details that made every point that we visited memorable.

It was very good, it coincided with Corpus Christi Day and there was a lively atmosphere, pleasant day, and the guide Arancha was very dedicated.

Oscar was an excellent guide - very knowledgeable about Toledo and its history. He helped us understand the Muslim, Jewish and Christian history of the city.

Tour started 1/2 hour late. Audio connection with guide was poor and he could not be heard most of the time. Tour was advertised as 5 hour duration but took close to9 hours. Sat around at end of guided tour for 2 1/2 hours. Despite the above, Toledo is awesome.

The city was absolutely beautiful. It rained all day but it was still lovely. The day could have been better if we were given adequate bathroom breaks. We only got two breaks all day and not enough time for lunch. We only had 35 mins for lunch and by the time we walked around to find food it was not enough time to eat so we ate nothing for lunch. We also did not get enough information about the city. Our receivers did not work well so my son stopped wearing his. It was an exhausting day and we had minimal breaks so it was rather disappointing. However, our guide was nice but didn’t know what to do in the rain. She let us stand outside in the pouring rain while she tried to be refunded for people who didn’t show but she previously purchased tickets for. It was a long rainy day that could have been better if it was more organized. It was very pricey and the tour was not well executed.
