Macorix House of Rum ist ein historisches Museum der Familie Ron Macorix wurde 1899 von der Familie Carrión aus der Stadt San Pedro de Macorís geboren, einem Ort, der von vielen als das Land der Dichter, Künstler und des Zuckerrohrs angesehen wird. 110 Jahre später wurde Ron Macorix Teil der Vinícola del Norte-Familie der Hafenstadt Puerto Plata, die zwei emblematische Rum produzierende Städte in der Dominikanischen Republik vereint.
Als eine der schönsten visuellen Attraktionen der Stadt gehen täglich viele Touristen dorthin, um diese schönen Orte zu genießen und die schönsten Fotos zu machen.
Die Kathedrale von Puerto Plata oder San Felipe Apóstol ist einer der bekanntesten und schönsten Orte mit viel Geschichte für diejenigen, die die Stadt Puerto Plata besuchen und erkunden. Dieses monumentale Gebäude steht neben dem Central Park und verleiht der Gegend einen Glanz und unvergleichliche Schönheit. Die Kathedrale von San Felipe Apostol oder einfach die Kathedrale von Puerto Plata ist ein Tempel der katholischen Kirche, der sich in der Stadt Puerto Plata, einem Teil der gleichnamigen Provinz im Norden der Insel, in der Calle José del Carmen Ariza 36 befindet La Spanisch und das karibische Land der Dominikanischen Republik.
Der Touristenpfad Doña Blanca ist eine kleine Gasse im Zentrum von Puerto Plata, die ganz in Pink gestrichen ist, als Hommage an den Gründer des ersten Hotels der Stadt, des Europa Hotels.
Dies ist ein wunderschöner Besuch im oberen Teil der Stadt, wo Sie eine wunderschöne Aussicht haben, von der ich Ihnen versichere, dass Sie sie lieben werden.
Die beeindruckendste Zigarrenfabrik der Stadt, in der Sie sehen können, wie die Zigarre hergestellt wird, und Sie auch etwas zu rauchen bekommen. Während das Juweliergeschäft ein wunderschöner, gut klimatisierter Ort ist, beide mit sehr professionellem Personal.
Die Schokoladenfabrik Del Oro, Dominikanische Republik, ist bekannt für ihre Schokoladenproduktion, also musste ich natürlich an einer Führung durch die Schokoladenfabrik Del Oro teilnehmen. Der Anbau, die Verarbeitung und der Export von Rohkakao und anderen Kakaoprodukten machen einen großen Teil ihrer Wirtschaft aus und sie machen es gut! Ein Großteil ihrer Schokolade gelangt in die USA und nach Europa.
In diesem Stopp besuchen wir die Festung San Felipe von außen, Puerto Plata Amphitheater und sehen den schönsten Blick auf den Ozean.

We had a wonderful experience on this half-day city tour. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire trip enjoyable from start to finish. We felt safe and comfortable throughout the tour, and transportation was well organized. The guide Hiyo shared interesting information about the history, culture, and local life, and gave us plenty of opportunities to take photos and ask questions. We visited beautiful sites and got a great introduction to the area in just a few hours. This tour was a perfect way to explore the city, especially for first-time visitors. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, enjoyable, and informative experience in the Dominican Republic!

Jerry was an awesome tour guide. This was the perfect way to see the city and learn about the culture. Definitely recommend! We even had time to eat lunch at a local spot. The lunch was not on the itinerary but Jerry made it happen.

I was just flabbergasted by the experience. Yeury was awesome and genuine. A bottle of water was provided. We went through all the stops. The run factory was closed so 10% refund was provided to us. If I’d be honest, I would have given the 10% as a tip. This guys are hard-working, professional, and have a very good work ethic, I strongly recommend them, if you were seeing this review sitting on the fence, I would just tell you to book this you would not regret

We had a wonderful experience with Renny, our tour guide. He was very polite and courteous. He tried his best to explain the important landmarks around the city and was quite knowledgeable as far as the history of the place was concerned. It was fun to converse with him. He took us to several places like for example the rum factory, the pink street, downtown etc. and these places were very pleasant to see and experience. You get the vibe of the locals and how relaxed, welcoming and fun loving they are actually. Overall a nice experience.
