Diese halbtägige Tour ist ideal für alle, die in begrenzter Zeit das Beste von Cusco und Umgebung erkunden möchten. Sie bietet einen umfassenden Überblick über das Inka- und Kolonialerbe. Am ersten Tag Ihrer Ankunft empfiehlt sich eine Stadtrundfahrt. Unsere Agentur organisiert diese Tour jeden Nachmittag. Sie werden um 13:00 Uhr von Ihrem Hotel abgeholt. Sie erhalten eine Führung durch das Stadtzentrum von Cusco, besuchen die Plaza de Armas, den Sonnentempel Qoricancha-Santo Domingo und fahren dann hinaus, um die Ruinen von Sacsayhuaman, Kenko, Puca Pucara und Tambomachay zu besichtigen. Rückkehr in die Stadt zwischen 18:00 Uhr.

Wir beginnen den Ausflug mit einem Besuch des Hauptplatzes von Cusco und gehen zum Sonnentempel Qoricancha.
Dann besuchen wir den Tempel von Qoricancha, den höchsten Ausdruck der Inka-Architektur und -Technik. Der Sonnentempel oder Qoricancha ist heute auch das Kloster Santo Domingo.
Die beeindruckende Festung Sacsayhuaman liegt strategisch günstig auf einem Hügel mit Blick über ganz Cusco. Sie ist berühmt für ihre riesigen geschnitzten Steine, von denen einige 9 Meter hoch sind und mehr als 350 Tonnen wiegen.
Es liegt vier Kilometer nordöstlich der Stadt Cusco und beherbergt die archäologischen Gruppen Q'enqo Grande und Q'enqo Chico. Tambomachay, etwa 8 km nördlich von Cusco und ganz in der Nähe der Ruinen von Puka Pukara gelegen, ist eine archäologische Stätte, die für die Wasserverehrung und als Ruhestätte für das Oberhaupt des Inkareichs gedacht war. Dieser Ort wird auch Baños del Inca (Inkabäder) genannt. Er besteht aus einer Reihe von Aquädukten, Kanälen und verschiedenen Wasserfällen, die durch die Felsen fließen. Das Überraschende daran ist, dass die Inka zwei sekundäre Wasserfälle geschaffen haben, die genau gleich sind. Das heißt, wenn man zwei leere Flaschen stellt, eine in jeden Wasserfall, füllen sich die beiden. Die beiden Wasserfälle füllen sich gleichzeitig.
