Halbtägige Privattour Sintra-Cabo Roca-Cascais-Portugiesische Riviera

Beschreibung

Private Tour Half Day of Sintra, Cabo do Roca, Cascais and Portuguese Riviera Evelyn_P, May 2025 The two girls appeared very professional with their outfits and their nice Mercedes Benz sedan. Carina, from the start, was a very good and careful driver but did not add to our conversations because she spoke and understood very little English. On the other hand, Diana, our tour guide, was not very knowledgeable about simple historical facts regarding the population of Lisbon and Sintra, etc. She was a bit quiet from the start after they picked us up from the cruise port. We were expecting her to be very vocal in her descriptions of what the half day plan is. She was quiet. Our first stop was the National Palace of Queluz that wasn't even part of the itinerary described in the booking. As such, we paid 10 Euros each to enter this palace that wasn't really outstanding. Because she didn't tell us how much time we have for this drop off, we wasted some time there and ate up our time with places described in the booking. We also thought that she will come with us inside the palace but she didn't. She seemed to have no time-line as to how many minutes we should spend in Sintra. She said we can spend an hour there which we thought was a bit much considering that we only have a half day for this tour. But we decided to spend only half an hour, on our own, and looked for them. We bought piriquitas which she suggested and they were delicious. After Sintra, we proceeded to Cabo do Roca which was very scenic and made our trip at least worth it for we felt that we have reached the westernmost edge of the continental Europe. However, because of her incompetence in her time management and touring skill, we were told that Cabo do Roca was our last stop and that we have to go back to the cruise port. According to the booking descriptions, we should have gone to Pena Palace while in Sintra at least for a photo stop there. We also didn't go to Cascais and the Portuguese Riviera due to time constraints. Diana is not ready to be a tour guide for reasons described. Another disappointment with these two ladies was when we asked to be dropped off at the Commerce Square rather than the cruise port. Unfortunately, this instruction wasn't even followed when Carina dropped us off at the wrong place (Time Out Market) which caused us to walk 850 meters more. However, inspite of their shortcomings, we still gave each of them tips for their efforts.
Luis was an excellent tour guide.. prompt, accommodating to one of our group members who needed some special accommodation for mobility issues. His knowledge base was admirable regarding the history of the area as well as the current environment. The four members of our group couldn’t have been more pleased! I would highly recommend Luis!!!
Thak you very much for your lovely words.
YTours passed the job to another vendor who was not aware we had the stops promised in the advertisement. After a trip to Sintra and National Palace of Queuz said our time was up. We had to pay extra to see Cascais and have him drive the shoreline to our hotel in Baxia. We didn’t even see the Peña Palace which is pictured in the advertisement. Not a happy tour.
We accept that you didn't like the tour, but we don't accept that you should denigrate our image or report facts that aren't true and that are lies... First of all, the guide has worked with Ytours for a long time and is a professional. You had a 4-hour HD Sintra tour and wanted to do an 8-hour FD Sintra tour without paying any extra... if you had read the tour description you would have noticed that a 4-hour tour does not include a visit to the Palaces only time for pictures. The guide said that the gentlemen hadn't accepted what they'd been told and had forced them to visit the Palace. It was after entering the Palacio de Sintra that the guide told you that if you wanted to visit the Palace you had to pay for the whole day... Ytours is not fooling anyone and we suggest that next time you buy a tour you read that it is included. Thanks and regards
Luis was very knowledgeable, friendly and had great conversation. It was a great way to get an overview of the area.
Luis was great. Our tour was a half day and we loved it so much that we extended the tour for two hourS. This is a beautiful trip with amazing views, restaurants and places to Visit.
Sintra is and was magical. Our driver Luis was very knowledgeable. Quite a conversationalist. He recommended a wonderful restaurant we went to later on after the tour and loved.
Very nice private tour, our tour guide was very informative, the tour was in Spanish as we requested and the transportation was very comfortable (van) for the four of us.
The drive through both sides of the mountain and the beauty of castles and legendary buildings, but also our tour guide Juan, what a treasure!!!
I and my husband had a great time touring around and we owe it from Luis who made this trip such a very special and memorable. Luis is very knowledgeable ( my husband enjoyed it because he likes World History) as we gave us a very wide info/background about these historic and amazing destinations. He is also very sensitive on how we want to manage our hectic schedule and maximize our time on this tour. Remember Luis when you plan to do a tour in Portugal he can take you anywhere at your preference and convenience. to top that, he will recommend great restaurants at the side as to your kind of style and preference and budget. Thank you so much, Luis! We will visit and see you again to take us to other parts of Portugal. Best regards
We had planned a ride in Sintra but because of the pandemic we decided to take a private tour to be safer and quieter. This was definitely the best decision and choice. Luís is 5 Stars as he had the cleaning care where all the safety rules are respected also had all the necessary material to take care of himself but above all take care of us. He is a great guide, we had an excellent day and even though we are in the middle of a pandemic.
Gracias por tu comentario. Realmente en estos tiempos difíciles es difícil pero hacemos todo lo posible para brindarles a quienes nos visitan un día bien aprovechado las medidas de seguridad y sanitarias requeridas. espero que vuelvas Luis
