We had a great tour with Tai who was out guide. Swift pickup early to arrive at sight as it gets busy later. He was a wealth of information about the temples and historical events that happened there. Nothing too much trouble for us always checking we were ok on the hot day. We recommend him highly

Can highly recommend this experience of a half day trip to My Son with Tai. His knowledge of the site and its history contributed greatly to our experience- we learned so much, and Tai was a friendly, fun and enthusiastic host. It was hassle free, with the driver picking us up and returning to our hotel, and expertly driving us there in the refreshingly cool car.

Our guide, Tai, offered to pick up up earlier than scheduled to avoid crowds and heat, but we opted to keep our scheduled time due to our hotel not serving breakfast earlier. It would have been perfect if we had left earlier as offered, but we still managed to be just ahead of the crowds. This tour has quite a bit of walking involved and although water is provided, I recommend bringing extra. Tai was educational allowed us to move at our own pace. My Son Sanctuary has an amazing history and I am glad they are rebuilding what was destroyed. We had the opportunity to walk a different path out, but mosquitos are active on that path, and we did not have any bug repellent with us. It was a great experience and Tai was wonderful.

We booked the private tour with pick up service from our beach hotel with John as our tour guide. The tour company will communicate with you via WhatsApp which makes it reassuring to stay in touch. The drive is around 1 hour and the actual site tour, around 2 hours. It is very hot so make sure you bring water or money to purchase water at the multitude of rest areas within the actual sanctuary. Toilets are clean and plentiful. Booking the all inclusive transport/tour guide is convenient. The sanctuary itself also offers private tours. Overall, highly recommend seeing this historical site and booking this tour, especially with grandma in tow.

We had a great time visiting My Son Sanctuary with this tour. Our guide spoke great English and was very enthusiastic in teaching us about the Champa people. It was very hot but still very worthwhile go visit to get away from the hustle and bustle of Hoi An.

We really enjoyed touring My Son. Tai was a great guide and provided lots of information on the history of My Son (and also lots of icy cold water)! Definitely recommend visiting as a day trip from Hoi An.

One thing to know about My Son is that it is HOT! While I really wanted to see this, I wouldn't necessarily recommend for young children. Experience could be enhanced if the guide makes effort to connect with kiddos and tries to tailor information to their interests (which our guide really didn't do, though he did shorten the information based on attention span)

We had an amazing half‑day at My Son Sanctuary. Our guide (Tai) was extremely friendly and attentive, always making sure we were comfortable and tailoring the tour to our wishes. He explained the history in detail, answered all our questions, and even took great photos of us along the way. The early start meant we could enjoy the site before the crowds and heat, which made the experience even more special. We would absolutely book this tour again

My Son Sanctuary tour was really interesting and the tour guide provided a lot of history. Nice air conditioned private car to take 4 of us from Hoi An. They provided cold bottles of water too which was much needed on a very hot and humid day!
