We had a fantastic day with Andreas! Pick up was very clear and the vehicle was very nice. Heprovided us with extra information at Ancient Olympia and let us decide how much time to spent. He took us to a family run olive oil farm which was very informative and it was great to learn about the local community. Then we went to a small family winery - wonderful family, good wine and snacks prepared by the owner. We really enjoyed our time there. A great day!
What a fabulous experience! Demitri picked up me, my husband and 21 year old daughter at port. He was so knowledgeable and friendly. He allowed us to customize our day while making excellent recommendations to avoid crowds. Once he heard we wanted to go to a winery he recommended a small private family owned one to visit. We met the owners and it was such a personalized experience! We had great wine and meat/cheese platters. It was a great day and I highly recommend!
Alex was a great guide. We had two small kids so we cut tour short a bit. But he was basically willing to tailor tour to meet our needs. This is definitely not a guided tour. He’s more of an escort to the ruins and tells you some things a long the way. The ruins we did on our own. It was my granddaughters birthday and he bought her a cake, which was so nice. I give the tour only 4 stars because price was steep for what it was. But it was nice having control of our own schedule.
This was a fun and easy way to visit the site and get to know Katakalon/Olympia. Bill was an excellent driver, pleasant safe and informative. He was open to our ideas and offered excellent suggestions as an experienced driver. Highly recommend getting the VR glasses to accompany the visit to the archeaological site, it completely made the experience come to life! The olive oil factory was informative, not too long and gave super interesting insight into the process. The beach was beautiful even though it was choppy that day but it was a great relaxing stop. Highly recommend!
Thank you for your review! We are glad you enjoy your experience!!!
Andreas created a custom magical experience for us by tailoring the day to our preferences. My husband and I toured Olympia and the museum, when to an olive oil production facility and tasted oil and olives, visited a monastery high in the hills with only 12 nuns, then tasted wine at a boutique vineyard. He even stopped at a grocery store on the way back to the marina so we could get some more fruit and veggies for our sailboat. Andreas shared stories about Greece and all the places we toured and was a marvelously safe driver!!

We had a great day with our tour guide Bill. He was full of info and he drove us all over the area. He had great advice on what areas to go to first to avoid crowds. He helped arrange us to get an olive oil tour and taste. It was really informative and we really enjoyed it. We did a quick stop at the sea and were able to grab a drink and enjoy the views. We had him drop us off at some of the shops near the port and he recommended a great gelato stop. Bill hopes to drive Route 66 some day so if you get a chance to bring him some memorabilia I have no doubt he would treasure it.

Demetrius explained details of Olympia I didn’t know. We walked around at our own pace around Olympia ruins and museums for 20 euros. Olive oil plant tour was a surprise we all enjoyed. Last touch was a panoramic view up high of our NCL ship the Viva and coastline.

We had a wonderful half day tour with Bill. He was happy to share information on our drive. He gave us tips on the best use of our time. Bill was so kind to facilitate our drop and pick up points to meet the needs of our disabled friend. I would highly recommend Bill.

Just book this tour with Dimitris. He was our driver and guide for the day and we had a wonderful time. We started early to beat the queues and heat walking around Olympia. Dimitris was at the pick up point before us. Really welcoming and friendly and off we went. We had loads of time to walk around the Olympia site and museum and have a quick drink, then at Dimitris suggestion we went to an olive oil mill which was a revelation. Had a guided tour (no charge) and tasting and immediately bought some of the best we’ve ever tested. All a little tired by now so off to a lovely beach bar for a couple of drinks by the sea via a lovely journey through the countryside and insights from Dimitris. Really great day, less than a quarter of going on the cruise ships coach tour and so great value. Would highly recommend
