Scam. They charge for full day tour then change it to a half day due to “weather” then they refuse to refund you the difference. Ripoff.

We have searched our booking records but have been unable to locate a reservation under the name George. Please email us at info@piecesof8tours.com with the name used for the booking and your reservation details. Once located, we will follow up with our Accounts team regarding the partial refund due for the change in tour. Tours may occasionally be adjusted when wind and sea conditions make travel to The Exumas or Eleuthera unsafe. When conditions still permit safe travel to Rose Island, guests are offered that alternative, and the difference in the tour price is refunded. We had the best time with Diego and his crew. From the guided tour, feeding the pigs, snorkeling and lunch at Footprints, I highly recommend this tour but be sure you ask for Diego and Meatball!
We had an awesome day with our crew. They were friendly and attentive . My family really enjoyed the day . We loved it! Swimming with the pigs, the sea turtles, harbor tour, and the e boat ride were all awesome. Lots of laughs and smiles!
Shout out to Big Al and the whole crew for making it such a fun and unforgettable experience! We had an amazing time on the Pieces of Eight half-day tour to Rose Island! My family and I loved every minute of it. The water was that perfect tropical teal color — warm, clear, and absolutely beautiful. We got to snorkel with sea turtles, hold and feed the pigs, and even give the baby pigs bottles, which was such a fun and memorable experience. The beaches were stunning with soft white sand, gorgeous skies, and the most peaceful island setting. After exploring and enjoying the water, we had lunch, played beach volleyball, and soaked in the island vibes at Footprints Beach Bar. I’ve been to the Bahamas a few times, and this was definitely my favorite experience so far. It was the perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and family fun. Highly recommend!
We highly recommend taking the tour out to Harbour Island and the pink beach! We stopped on the way to feed the pigs. They didn't want to get in the water but there were so many babies and cuddling with them made up for it. Our next stop was swimming with stingrays and turtles. I could have spent the whole day here. It was such an amazing experience. Visiting the pink beach was breathtaking. The water is like nothing I had ever seen before and was so relaxing. We ate an amazing lunch and the Pieces of 8 team kept us hydrated the entire time and provided snacks. Zay and Captain Alex were the absolute best!! They were very fun and knowledgeable. You will not be disappointed with this excursion!
We were originally scheduled for the full day but got cancelled due to weather conditions. Instead we did the half day rose island. I was told the swimming of the pigs experience was the same was Exuma and it wasn’t. There were 8 pigs that ran out of a pen for you to fed with a stick for 20 minutes. The area was filthy. Dirty day beds, chairs. It looked like a junk yard. Food was barely edible. I’m so sad that I cried. This was a bucket list item (literally). I have battled 2 cancers and I was so looking forward to this. I want a full refund.

We took 2 tours with Pieces of 8; Pink Sands Escape and Harbour Tour and Rose Island. Both tours were incredible. The staff are fun, accommodating, knowledgeable and work hard to make sure you have a great experience. The speed boats bring a nice added level of fun to the day. If you have only have time for 1 tour I HIGHLY recommend the pink sands escape. It was a great day.
We originally booked a trip to Harbor Island, but due to Hurricane Erin, plans had to change. The team was incredibly responsive—they refunded us promptly and rebooked us for Rose Island, which turned out to be a hidden gem just a short ride away. We had the BEST day! The water was stunning, the vibe was relaxed and joyful, and Captain Ron,Alvin and Zen made the whole experience unforgettable. They were professional, fun, and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a great time.
We had amazing time! Our excursion to Exuma had to be postponed so they took us on the harbour and rose island excursion. Our Captain Diego, 1st Mate Batman and 2nd Mate Maddy were fantastic. They kept the boat entertained, and went above and beyond for our 4 year old. Highly recommend pieces of 8 and this crew. Will do this again next time we are here for sure!
This experience was amazing!!! We originally booked the Exuma swimming pigs with the lizards and nurse shark tour but unfortunately due to some bad weather, our tour was changed to the rose island swimming pigs tour which I was so bummed about, but honestly, the tour guides were so amazing, I completely forgot about the original tour we booked. The experience was amazing and so so fun for our family. From the boat ride, to the private beach, the swimming pigs, and the friendly and knowledgeable staff. I couldn’t recommend this tour enough. Our tour guides were Diego and Travis aka Batman. I wish I could give this tour more than 5 stars. It was so convenient, they pick you right up from the Atlantis resort and drop you right back off at the end. Honestly one of the best traveling experiences I’ve ever had! My kids couldn’t stop talking about it afterwards. If I ever come back I would 100% do this again!
