Die Kathedrale von Cusco ist eine der reichsten Kirchen Südamerikas mit einer großen Sammlung von Gemälden der Escuela Cusqueña und es ist interessant zu sehen, wie die örtliche Religion während der Zeit der Kolonialisierung überlebt hat. Sie haben eine 45-minütige Führung.
Qoricancha (Tempel der Sonne) ist der beste Tempel, den die Inkas je gebaut haben, der wichtigste Tempel, in dem sie ihre Götter hatten und die Wände mit Gold bedeckt waren. Gold, das Atawallpa (König) verwendete, um seinen Schurken in Cajamarca zu bezahlen.
Die Festung von Sacsayhuaman ist einer der rätselhaftesten Orte der Welt. Sie werden eine 40-minütige Führung haben, bei der die Inkas mit Steinen über 120 Tonnen einen Tempel bauen, der dem Blitz gewidmet ist.
An dem Ort, an dem der Prozess der Inka-Mumifizierung (Königsmumifizierung) durchgeführt wurde, werden wir in eine Höhle eintreten, um einen Zeremonientisch aus Stein zu sehen, der für diesen Zweck verwendet wurde.
Wird als heiliges Inkabad angesehen, in dem der König zeremoniell geduscht und dem Wasser Opfer dargebracht hat.
Die rote Festung, ein Kontrollpunkt für Menschen, die vom Antisuyo in die antike Stadt Cusco kamen, war mit Tambomachay verbunden.

This was the ruins / city tour and it was fabulous! I highly recommend this tour for you to learn about Cusco.
