We had a wonderful time on this trip. I liked it because we were taken along the creek and were told about the history of the area and shown wildlife. Later we did snorkelling which was really great as there were a lot of fish to see.
Fun experience, ideal for bird- and monkey-watching, and great snorkeling right in front of the Mombasa coast (high fish diversity & density), would definitely recommend!
Thank you captains Abu and Masudi about our wonderful marine safari. There were the elements of the planned programme, but with different timing and order, plus some improvisation. During the low tide, we had the opportunity to walk on the coral reef and see the diversity of life on it. Snorkeling in the clear waters allowed for seeing the corals and fishes in their natural habitat. The safari ended in the bay of mangrove trees with a delicious (self-paid) lunch in a local fishing village and discussions with the local fishermen. This was the time when the high tide was raising already, we could see how it raised to cover the roots and stems of the mangrove trees. Very good and recommended safari. A small minus: the fins were forgotten, but with the help of the captain Abu we were able to swim and snorkle around anyway. Also advice for the participants: own water shoes turned out to be useful during the safari. In this safari, we two were the only participants, so today it was kind of private tour, with very good value of the money.
Great way to spend a morning Interesting trip up the creek and finished off with a great snorkel with plenty of interesting fish
Thank you for your feedback! We are delighted you had a great experience! We hope to see you again!
