Dan is a professional sommelier and really knows beer, as well as the pubs and breweries in Lewes.

Dan was a superb guide with tremendous knowledge and information about all things related to beer. There were 8 of us in total on our tour, Dan took us to three venues and introduced us to the variety of beers on offer at the contrasting establishments, describing the journey of the organisations - from historic to contemporary. The other people on the tour were great company and we ended up carrying on the tour a little after the end of official (3hr) proceedings. We had travelled from Bristol and Surrey to get to Lewes and at was well worth the trip.

I never thought of myself as a beer lover, but went on this tour with my husband. Fascinating Brewery talks with beer samples included in the price. Turns out I love beer. Dan knows so much about Lewis and, of course, beer - all imparted with great knowledge and humour.

A fantastic trip round Lewes stopping at 3 beer hotspots, all led by the fantastically knowledgeable. Whether you are very into your beer or someone fairly new to it I promise you there is something for everyone and you'll have a fantastic time. I've been wanting to come to Lewes for a beer tour for ages and this was a perfect way to see the towns beery delights! Highly recommended.

Excellent tour with some lovely beers from great breweries. Dan the guide really knew his stuff and was able to answer all of the questions that came up, and shared some interesting facts about the area and its beer and pub history.

We had a brilliant tour of Lewes breweries with Dan - he's super knowledgeable and entertaining and answered our many questions! Would definitely recommend as a thing to do in Lewes - lots of knowledge also about the beautiful town in addition to the load about beer. Plus, all of the 6, 7, 8(?) different beers that were included were delicious and he was happy to switch out any we didn't want to try. Thank you Dan!

Dan is a very knowledgeable bloke who obviously has a passion for the area and ofcourse the amazing beer the area produces. Everyone knows about Harvey's and quite rightly so, but the two up and coming other breweries we visited produce some amazing products which I will be visiting again on my next nights out in Lewes. I never knew they existed until now and glad that I have 2 new places to eat/drink when I visit the area as these are just not breweries but places to visit to eat/drink. One of the brewers took some time out to explain his journey and answer questions which again shows the customer love these people have. Don't expect to see how the beer is made, and the itninary doesn't suggest it will, but what you will get is a grand tour, alot of history and knowledge and ofcourse various samples of what the area can offer. Book it 🍺🍻

This is the most brilliant outing. Lewes is stunning, the beer delicious and the knowledge imparted, incredible. Highly recommended.

Great tour and very knowledgeable guide. Beers were all lovely even ones I didn't expect to enjoy which was a nice surprise.
