Austin ist voller Gruselgeschichten (und wir reden nicht nur über die Mietpreise oder den Verkehr). Begleiten Sie uns auf dieser entzückend göttlichen, geführten Geistertour mit mehr als 18 Erwachsenen, die einige der gespenstischsten Orte in der Innenstadt von Austin beleuchtet! Wir erzählen Geschichten von anderen Dingen, die in der Nacht von Austins erstem Serienmörder über urbane Legenden bis hin zu einigen Kultaktivitäten rollen. Die Tour ist ein „buh-tique“ Erlebnis, bei dem wir unser Storytelling ernst nehmen, aber nicht uns selbst! Wir sind bestrebt, spannende Geistertouren anzubieten, die die Geister, die wir diskutieren, ehren, ohne sie mit langen historischen Seiten zu belasten, die Sie sicherlich vergessen werden. (Wir lieben auch ein gutes Wortspiel...) Bitte beachten Sie: Diese Tour ist kein tiefer Einblick in Austins Stadtgeschichte und KEINE paranormale Untersuchung. Das einzige Gebäude, in das wir gehen, ist das Driskill Hotel, wenn es verfügbar ist. Wenn du einen Geist in einem Fenster siehst oder eine unerklärliche Erfahrung hast, ist das eine Kirsche obendrauf! Wir sind einfach nur Verfechter gespenstischer Geschichten.

Reiseverlauf
Wir beginnen unsere Tour vor dem schönen Texas State Capitol. Wir diskutieren über die Geister, die immer noch die Schatten der historischen Hallen des Gebäudes heimsuchen & ein paar urbane Legenden, die Austin seltsam halten.
Von den Geistern der texanischen Vergangenheit, über Phantompferde bis hin zu schaurigen Partys, machen wir Halt vor der Villa des Gouverneurs, wo Sie ein kurzes Foto machen und von den vielen mysteriösen Geschehnissen in dem Gebäude erfahren können, die bis heute geschehen. Wenn wir zu unserem nächsten Treffpunkt fahren, plaudern wir Serienmörder in der Hauptstadt.
Eine Dame in Weiß, ohne Schokoriegel und verwunschene Projektoren, ein Junge, der Zauberer liebt … alles passende Geister für ein sagenumwobenes Theater.
Auf dem Weg zu unserem Endziel werden wir eine kurze Geschichte des einst höchsten Gebäudes in Austin (jetzt lachhaft) behandeln und eine Reihe texanischer urbaner Legenden wie die Donkey Lady diskutieren. Wir werden auch einige der Sekten diskutieren, die Austin in vergangenen Zeiten nach Hause riefen... (und vielleicht sogar bis heute?)
Das Driskill Hotel ist nicht nur ein schönes Gebäude im Herzen der Innenstadt, sondern auch eines der meistbesuchten Hotels im Bundesstaat. Wir berichten hier über die berühmtesten Geister Austins; von verjagten Bräuten bis hin zu kleinen Mädchen, Porträts, die jeden Ihrer Bewegungen zu beobachten scheinen, Aufzüge mit mürrischen Geistermännern und mehr, wir speichern das Beste für den letzten und packen unseren letzten Ha Ha Haunted Punch mit dem Finale unserer Tour! We went on a tour with Celia and we just had the absolute best time! She was so fun and funny and also very informative. The length of the walking wasn’t too bad and she accommodated stopping near benches for my mom to be able to sit as well. She was respectful of the victims of crimes she shared about and also differentiated when she was telling a story about something verifiable versus just lore which was neat! 10/10 recommend! We took this tour 3 days ago and we’re still talking about how much we liked it and her!

Bring your walking shoes and use the restroom ahead of time. Dress accordingly to weather and be prepared for a uphill incline

Celia was our guide and did an amazing job. I generally don't care for guided tours because they feel so canned and scripted. Celia is not that kind of guide. She covers relevant facts to set the stage, but then the magic is in the details and stories she shares. Her passion for Austin is on full display and she has gone above and beyond by doing additional research on the backstories of the people. The result is a truly unique and informative experience, and her sense of humor is the cherry on top.
