Ha Giang Loop 3D2N Private Autotour (Englisch sprechender Fahrer)

We booked the trip because of the very good reviews. Unfortunately, not all expectations, as stated in the reviews, were met after all. Unfortunately, our guide could not speak English very well. Also, the knowledge about the culture, the ethnic groups, and the country was very, very limited and barely existed. Thanks to the internet and a guidebook, we read up on the information ourselves. In some cases, we were even told incorrect information. On the first day, we were just dropped off at the respective points/stations, and we were told absolutely nothing. After we complained about this to the guide, he tried to say more, but as I said, without the knowledge, you cannot tell anything, so it all becomes very difficult. That is why we cannot understand all the reviews / 5 stars. The hotel on the first day was already very borderline; they probably had water problems, as only slightly brown water came out of the tap. Also, structurally, it was already very worn down. So, now for the positive: there were also really nice things, which would be the detour on the 1st. Day with a view of the Chinese border, on the second day the hike/walk on the skywalk, and the food was really extremely delicious everywhere. The second accommodation / homestay was also great, the food in the evening was amazing, really very delicious. The guide helped cook a little bit. The next morning, we were at the market in the morning before breakfast, very nice. The last day was then again rather nothing. We could not drive to the hemp weaving mill because the road was closed... we were then in Ha Giang around 12 o'clock after 3 stops for photography. The guide then organized a detour to a river at our request, which was very nice. But swimming is just not getting to know the culture and the country. And that was unfortunately really missing on the trip.

We were not sure about doing Ha Giang Loop by car, but definitely was the best decision for us. It was confortable all trip long, totally secure and the guide was kind and helped us with everything. He rided like a profesional and make us confortable all time. The homestays were also very good, well located, clean and with all what we needed. We really recomend it!!!

An amazing trip! Opi was very helpful and responsive to all of my questions leading up to our trip. Our guide Phuc had great English and both he and Thien were knowledgeable and safe drivers. They happily catered to our requests for vista stops and photo opportunities, and kept the route flexible so we could experience many hidden gems along the way. Without a doubt the trip was a highlight of our Vietnam holiday.

We very much enjoyed the visit to the north with our guide Hung, he was very attentive throughout the trip. It was also very comfortable in electric SUV, an excellent alternative to the bucket rider.

I visited Ha Giang in March and didn’t want to rider motorbike, so this car tour was Ideal. The driver was very friendly and also shared interesting stories about local culture and daily life. We stopped at several stunning viewpoints and small villages along the way. Everything felt authentic, safe, and relaxing. Highly recommended for those who prefer comfort over adventure riding

Originally we were undecided about visiting the Ha Giang Loop because we didn’t think it would be comfortable riding on the back of a motorbike for so many hours. Luckily we found Opi Adventure offers tours by car so we didn’t have to miss out. We had an amazing time on the 3D2N Ha Giang Loop tour with Happy as our driver & tour guide. He is very sincere and passionate about his job and made our whole experience unforgettable. He is knowledgeable about the area and clearly knew the roads well. We also met some of the team at Opi Adventures and everyone was professional and friendly. The meals provided were excellent quality and the accommodations were comfortable. The 2nd night at the homestay was treated like a celebration with free flowing happy water during dinner and karaoke afterwards. Highly recommend Opi Adventure if you are considering visiting the Ha Giang Loop.

We really enjoyed doing the loop by car! We followed almost the same itinerary as the motorbikes, and the car was very comfortable, especially for our baby. Furthermore Opi is a great guide, and by sitting together in the car all day we learned a lot about the local cultures:)
