We arrived very early and the hosts were really friendly letting us sit inside and shelter from the heat. The tour itself was incredible value for money and very informative. The tasting itself was interesting and we left more knowledgeable and with a few bottles of balsamic vinegar.
Very good explanations in our language
We really enjoyed our tour and tasting at Acetaia Marchi. There were only two couples of us. The guide explained the balsamic vinegar process very well in French. We are tasting several products. They are excellent. We can buy some on-site, which is recommended because there is very, very little exportation. The prices are very affordable. There will be a restaurant starting next year to pair dishes with the different products. The building is currently under construction right next to the parent company.
Great visit, learned a lot about the process of making balsamico. Bery friendly and professional!
A big thank you to Aurora for the tour, the very interesting explanations, and not forgetting her pleasant service. Thanks a million
Really enjoyed this tour of a very nice family run Acetaia in Modena. The facility itself is impressive and the guide was very knowledgeable. I learned a lot and got to taste Balsamic Vinegars that I had previously only heard about. It was a great experience, and I highly recommend this tour.
Exceptional guide, High entrance fee considering the purchases often made after the visit.....
When in Modena, this balsamic vinegar tour should not be missed! Located at a small production family farm on the outskirts of town, the setting is beautiful. The grounds and the buildings are immaculate. The guide was very professional and gave us an exceptional tour grounded in history as well as the science behind the making of the vinegar. The tasting was the highlight, working our way up to the oldest, richest sample in their stock. I highly recommend this tour when in Modena.
This is a small family vineyard and absolutely delightful. We had a lovely and informative tour with Aurora. She explained everything very clearly about the process of making the balsamic vinegar and was very fluent in English. We tasted all levels of the vinegar including the oldest and also were introduced to their other products, jams and honey which we also loved. We were the only couple booked that day so in essence had a private tour. I highly recommend this experience.
We really enjoyed the tour with Aurora. She did a very thorough and entertaining presentation of the process.
