Zagori bedeutet übersetzt „hinter dem Berggebiet“, umfasst 46 Dörfer und zahlreiche Steinbrücken. In dieser malerischen Gegend nutzten die Menschen den lokalen Stein zum Bau von Häusern, Kirchen und Klöstern, gepflasterte Straßen und Steinbrücken bilden ein einzigartiges architektonisches Ganzes. Wir besuchen mehrere Dörfer, einzigartige Aussichtspunkte auf die Vikos-Schlucht, Steinbrücken, natürliche Pools, den kältesten Fluss Europas (durchschnittliche Temperatur 8-12 ° C) und ein Denkmal, das den tapferen Frauen der Pindos-Kette gewidmet ist

Die Dörfer Megalo und Mikro Papigo, die in zwei Bezirke getrennt sind, wurden am Fuße des Astraka-Berges gebaut. Auf dem Weg von Megalo nach Mikro Papigo gibt es kleine natürliche Pools, Rogovos Schwimmbäder genannt.
Die Papigko-Brücke wurde 1923 in idyllischer Lage gebaut, mit Platanen und kristallklarem Wasser des Voidomatis-Flusses, des kältesten Flusses Europas (4-10o Celcius), der im Herzen des erstaunlichen Vikos-Aoos-Nationalparks liegt
Wie beschreibt man diesen Ort und welches Foto hält die Schönheit dieser Landschaft fest? Oxya Aussichtspunkt liegt im Zentrum der Vikos Schlucht, ein Balkon mit spektakulärem Blick auf die majestätische Vikos Schlucht.
Ein einzigartiges Meisterwerk der Natur umfasst Schichten von Felsformationen in Form von steinernen „Pfannkuchen“.
Das Dorf liegt an der Südwestseite der Vikos-Schlucht auf einer Höhe von 1060 Metern und bietet Zugang zu einem atemberaubenden Blick auf die Schlucht. Mehrere Kirchen und ein Kloster am Rande der Klippen, eine Handwerksschule mit dem Ziel der pädagogischen, kulturellen und sozialen Entwicklung der Region Zagori
Die berühmteste Einzelbogen-Steinbrücke der Region Zagori befindet sich zwischen den Dörfern Dilofo, Kipoi und Koukouli und wurde 1750 erbaut
