Im Rahmen dieses Kurses besuchen Sie einen lokalen Markt, wählen exotische Zutaten und lernen, 5 typische Gerichte zu kochen (3 Hauptgerichte und 2 Beilagen) Wir bringen Sie zum lokalen Markt, wo Sie viele der exotischen Früchte probieren können. Vielleicht hatten Sie keine Ahnung, was die Hälfte der Früchte waren. Ohne einen lokalen Guide hätten Sie so viele Essensmöglichkeiten verpasst! Had a great experience with Milton and his son Diego. Felt really comfortable as a solo traveler trying to understand and integrate in the Antiguan life. The yummy food was also a plus. Would recommend!!
Absolutely amazing experience at Foodie Tenango! The hospitality was wonderful, and the staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and informative. We learned so much throughout the experience, and everything was explained so well. And the best part—the food was AMAZING! 🤤 Everything was delicious and made the experience even more memorable. The class and market tour was amazing and a perfect way to start my vacation in Antigua. Milton was friendly, knowledgeable and a great instructor. The class took the full 4 hours and I left completely full. The market tour was amazing, and Milton took his time explaining what he was getting and why. I can’t wait to make the dishes when I get back home!

This is a must do in Antigua! So far, out of the 55 countries I have visited, it has been one of my favourite tours/experiences! The trip to the market is so insightful and Milton and his family are amazing at what they do. If you are in anyway interested in food, you need to do this cooking class!! It is a cooking class and you’re dinner reservation in one! So easy with Tuk tuks organized to bring you to and from the house also- 10/10!
The tour started with a trip to the local market to pick the ingredients we would use to cook. We learned very interesting information also about the ingredients and the market itself. Next we were promptly picked up in a tuk tuk to the chefs home, which was beautiful, with stunning views. We prepared one of his grandmothers recipes and ate on the rooftop. We had plenty of food!!! I was stuffed when we left. Pls do yourself a favor and take this tour. I recommend taking this tour first bc we learned about great food options and places to eat but unfortunately for us, it was our last day and we didn’t get to experience any of his recommendations.
It was amazing! Perfect to learn the culture and people! I loved shopping at the market! I am so bad at cooking and he made it so easy and delicious!
