Nach einer 1,5-stündigen Fahrt durch Naturlandschaften mit Ihrem professionellen Guide erreichen Sie El Peñol, um die faszinierende Geschichte der Stadt zu entdecken, die sich heute mitten auf dem See befindet. Der Himmel ist am nächsten, wenn Sie die fast 700 Stufen des El Peñol-Felsens hinaufsteigen, der einen malerischen Blick auf die Region bietet (Eintritt nicht inbegriffen). Daniel was our guide and he was great! On the day of our tour, both main roads were closed to Guatape, but Daniel was diligent on finding a way to the town. Many of the locals were unaware of the closure to the roads to Guatape. We took the back roads, a bit bumpy, but without Daniel's resourcefulness, we wouldn't have made it to Guatape. The tour itself was great and I would definitely go again myself and recommend!

My partner and I had an awesome time with our guide, Fabio. He suggested that we start the day early to avoid crowds and traffic (it was a great suggestion). Guatape is a gorgeous area! Views from the top of the rock are stellar, the surrounding terrain, lake, and village should not be missed! Fabio is a very knowledgeable, witty guide from the Medellin area.
