Great overall experience. The rock climb is worth the view. Take your time. Sit and rest if you need to. An 80 yr old ahead of me did just fine. Boat on the reservoir was nice if it’s a clear sunny day. Meals provided were good. Guatape is a cute town to browse shops. Colorful city. Take a look inside the church on the main square. Was beautiful.

The breakfast and lunch were both delicious, and it was nice not having to worry about finding food during the trip. The boat tour was beautiful, and climbing Piedra del Peñol was definitely worth it for the incredible views. I would absolutely do this tour again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Medellín. This tour exceeded every expectation and was one of the highlights of my trip to Colombia. Everything was well organized, making the day smooth, stress-free, and enjoyable. A huge thank you to our guide, Gina, who was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly professional. She constantly checked in to make sure everyone was comfortable and had everything they needed. She also encouraged everyone to get to know one another during breakfast and lunch, creating such a fun and welcoming atmosphere. The boat ride was so much fun, with beautiful views along the way, and we learned fascinating facts about the waterfront homes and the reservoir. Climbing El Peñol wasn’t easy, but it was worth every single step for the breathtaking views. Just note that there’s a fee if you’d like to climb the rock. Learning about the history and exploring the beauty of Guatapé made every moment worthwhile. One of my favorite parts was the final stop, where we got to feed ($20 COP) and interact with the animals. It was such a heartwarming experience and the perfect way to end an already incredible day. I highly recommend this tour.
