It is difficult to put in words what you feel when visiting this museum because it is so moving ... you're back 25 years ago in the worst tragedy that ever happened. It is about "real" things. The owner/creator of the museum is fantastic.

What an amazing experience. Gary's knowledge and stories are fantastic and sad. So hard to put into words. Definitely worth the trip and would highly recommend seeing this exceptional pit together museum.
Standing in a space where history isn't hidden behind glass. Every piece in the workshop holds a story deeply narrated by Gary Suson himself, alongside the profound moments he captured so emotionally through his camera lens. This is a vital piece of living history—every school should visit to truly understand the resilience and humanity of the recovery effort.
me and the daughter were welcomed by Gary at the door on 09/11 who gave us headphones made by Bose very nice touch and great clear sound , don't let the small room fool you as its packed with information and history of 9/11 we were in there for over 90mins, you can touch certain items on display with permission from Gary or the helpers also bought a few posters and keepsakes ... keep up the good work Gary from Ray & Casey
This will be the second time attending this tour. Wonderful both times. Little bit more to learn each time. Gary was our guide and got us set up with our audio headphones. You can go at your own pace, listen to each story(a second time if you need to), sit and feel the stories. He captured emotion. It's museums like this and stories like Gary's that will help us to never forget.
Warm welcome by Gary. Exceptional visit. Remarkable work. Very beautiful tribute.
The Ground Zero Museum was interactive and well laid out to engage each visitor’s delights. Gary was our guide for the day. He was nothing short of exceptional, had a well of knowledge, and prepared to answer a variety of questions. I would recommend this location for anyone visiting Nee York City interested in 911.
Incredible experience - so many great things to see and learn about.
My wife and I have done a number of 9/11 memorial experiences and the Workshop Museum was the most moving I’ve ever visited. Due to a staff illness, the museum founder and curator, Gary, hosted our experience. Standing in his apartment’s worth of 25 years of his work with an intimate hands-on experience of living history was in red my moving. Our family from ages 9 to 47 learned so much from the interactive experience and really FELT the emotion in the room. I 100% recommend the Workshop Museum to anyone who wants to experience 9/11 on a personal, intimate level.
We booked a guided tour which was good as he told us stories and more information than we would’ve got just walking around. It’s harrowing and upsetting, but it’s part of history and we can’t forget the innocent people. I would recommend this..
