We did a private half day tour and our guide was Mr Muhsin - he is a very knowledgeable man, patient and flexible. We had a great time with him and would recommend to use his services if and when required.
Unfortunately, Greenwich Royal Tours was not a good experience. I would highly suggest Viator not use Greenwich Royal Tours for any future tours. Maybe it was just the guide who was assigned to my tour but my experience was not good. I did see and learn while on the tour but not from my guide. I am not disclosing his name but if Viator contacts me privately, I will share his name. The tour description specifically said it would begin and end in the same place but my tour guide left me at the top of the Royal Observatory even though we started at the Visitors Center. I did not appreciate finding my own way back to the Visitors Center.
Our guide for our Greenwich half day walking tour was Suzy, who was absolutely wonderful. A lovely lady who clearly takes pride in sharing her amazing knowledge of everything Greenwich! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole tour and we learnt so much. We would highly recommend this tour. Thank you so much!
Muhsin Was an amazing guide, he helped take a number of sites that we could have spent days to see in detail and digest them down so we could see the essential parts in the time we had. He was able to answer all our questions and tie what we were seeing in to other things we had seen on our trip. Highly recommend!
Muhsin was an excellent guide, who adjusted the trip to our needs. We saw everything and excellent explanations along the way’’
The guide was very informative and educational. My son really enjoyed the tour. All sights were fascinating. Would suggest to speed up the tour a little.
Our guide, Stephen, was so personable, well-informed, and flexible. We really enjoyed our tour and learned so much! Loved the Cutty Sark!
Excellent private tour with friendly and knowledgeable Victoria. Arrived at Cutty Sark Greenwich from the Thames river Uber boat and met up with Victoria for a very informative half day guided tour. We avoided crowds and school parties and was shown the most interesting spots and displays that would have been missed without her guidance. Had refreshments and taken back to the jetty by a guide who is both friendly and professional.
Getting to the essence of the key historical items easily with Stephen’s (guide) help. A great day! Very informative, brought everything alive for us’
We had an exceptional private tour with Greenwich Royal Tours. Our time was short and Stephen did a great job showing us the highlights while demonstrating a rare amount of knowledge with great enthusiasm and humor. It was so much better than seeing Greenwich in our own, we never would have seen or learned so much. We wish we could have done a full day tour and may return our next time in London. Highly recommended!
