Auch für Alleinreisende geeignet! Eine Rundreise, bei der man sich Zeit nehmen kann, um zwei prächtige Dörfer des Luberon zu entdecken, darunter Gordes, das das Erbe seiner landwirtschaftlichen und handwerklichen Vergangenheit bewahrt (lokaler Markt am Dienstag). Sie werden einen Zwischenstopp in der Abtei Sénanque aus dem 12. Jahrhundert einlegen, einem Ort der Ruhe, der von Juni bis Juli von Lavendel umgeben ist. Anschließend geht es weiter nach Roussillon, einem Ockerdorf, dessen ehemalige Abbaustätte in einen Weg umgewandelt wurde. Diesen können Sie besichtigen (Eintritt inklusive). Danach können Sie durch das farbenfrohe Dorf schlendern und eine Mittagspause einlegen. Ihr Tag endet in Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, wo Sie das erfrischende, sprudelnde Wasser der Sorgue, eines faszinierenden und klaren Flusses, entdecken und die traditionellen Techniken der Hadernpapierherstellung wie im 15. Jahrhundert kennenlernen können. Bitte beachten Sie: Für diese Route ist eine ausreichende körperliche Fitness zum Gehen erforderlich, einschließlich der Fähigkeit, Treppen zu steigen und abzusteigen.

Very unprofessional and disappointing experience. I booked this small-group van tour months ago, looking forward to exploring the Provence towns. On the morning of the trip, we arrived at the meeting spot on time, only to be told the guide was running 15 minutes late. After waiting, we received a notice that the tour was canceled without any explanation. Only after I asked did they mention a car accident. A reliable tour company should have a backup plan for emergencies. They didn’t just waste our time and energy; they ruined our entire day. Absolutely unprofessional behavior. I would not recommend this unreliable operator.

I completely understand your disappointment, especially after you had planned your day around this excursion with your friends. Unfortunately, due to an unexpected mechanical problem with the vehicle I had arranged for the tour, I was unable to operate the excursion safely. As a small independent operator, I had no suitable replacement vehicle available at such short notice, and cancelling the tour was the only responsible decision. You contacted the Tourist Office and I talked to the agent who was in front of you finding a arrangement and solution for you, I gave him different options and possibilities in the hope of finding an alternative for your group. So I find out that nothing could be offered by the tourist office, even though they are connected with a multitude of drivers, guides, service providers, and agencies. I am sincerely sorry to learn that no similar tour was available that day. I understand how frustrating this experience must have been, and I regret that your visit did not go as planned. While this situation was entirely exceptional, I fully appreciate the inconvenience it caused. Thank you again for your feedback, and I wish you all the best for your future travels. We took this Provence Excursions tour with Florine. She was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and full of commentary throughout entire day. Tour was well paced. It was a friendly, enjoyable day for us all. There was enough time for a relaxed pace lunch as well. This was our favorite sightseeing experience out of three during our time in Avignon.

We loved our day exploring Gordes, Roussillon and Fontaine-de-Vaucluse! Florine was very friendly, relaxed and informative. I learned a lot about the history of this region. Florine responded very quickly to our messages and picked us up right next to our accommodation, which made it much easier for us. I really appreciated her patience: she spoke French with me and moved easily to English, which allowed my 13-year-old daughter to understand and feel comfortable. I highly recommend this excursion!
