Treffen Sie den Turive-Assistenten um 14.45 Uhr vor dem Holzkiosk in der Calle Larga de l'Ascension. Um 15.00 Uhr starten Sie Ihre klassische Gondelfahrt (30 Minuten) vom Campo San Moisè
Treffen Sie den Turive-Assistenten um 15.30 Uhr in der Calle Larga de l'Ascension erneut. Der zweite Teil der Tour beginnt um 15.45 Uhr Entdecken Sie den Dogenpalast, den historischen Sitz der wichtigsten politischen Macht der Serene Venezianischen Republik. Sobald Sie den Palast betreten, besichtigen Sie die Säle, in denen der Herzog (Doge) und sein Rat das Schicksal der Serene Republic kontrollierten, während Sie von Hunderten künstlerischer Meisterwerke umgeben sind, und entdecken die politische Geschichte Venedigs und seiner Menschen. Sie können die Gemälde einiger der bedeutendsten Künstler der italienischen Renaissance bewundern, darunter das weltweit größte Ölgemälde von Tintoretto. Über die berühmte Seufzerbrücke gelangen Sie zu den neuen Gefängnissen. Der Name der Brücke stammt vom englischen Dichter Lord Byron und bezieht sich vermutlich auf den letzten Atemzug der Gefangenen, die aus dem Fenster dieser Brücke ihren letzten Blick auf die Lagune und Venedig hatten, bevor sie inhaftiert wurden.
Am Ende der Tour sollten Sie Ihr Ticket für den Dogenpalast behalten, um das Museo Correr, das Museo Archeologico Nazionale und die monumentalen Räume der Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana auf dem Markusplatz gegenüber der Markuskirche zu besichtigen.

We were delayed due to traffic and missed the tour by 5 min. We tried to contact the tour operator but never heard back. At least they should have given 5 min since We tried to communicate this. Waste of money

This was a well organized tour. The tour leads moved like clockwork. The gondola ride was our first and was great. Then we went to the palace and were really impressed by the interior. Our guide on the palace tour was great. She shared interesting and informative stories and information. She also did a great job of indicating we were moving without just directing us to the next space. It made for a more casual wandering feeling to the tour that we really appreciated. The palace was one of our most impressive tours of our trip and a must see in our opinion.

I liked being able to skip the line and having a guided tour. I would plan on getting to the meeting point a little ahead of the expected time because it can be a little chaotic and confusing.
I was a little disappointed that it wasn’t a private gondola ride, and the majority of the time the guy was on his cell phone, talking and laughing obnoxiously. The guided tour was nice and the lady was very sweet and informative.
