Der Palast der Schönen Künste im Stadtteil Marina in San Francisco, Kalifornien, ist ein monumentales Bauwerk, das ursprünglich für die Panama-Pazifik-Ausstellung von 1915 errichtet wurde, um dort ausgestellte Kunstwerke auszustellen. Es ist eines der wenigen erhaltenen Bauwerke der Ausstellung und befindet sich immer noch an seinem ursprünglichen Standort. Neben der Ausrichtung von Kunstausstellungen bleibt es eine beliebte Attraktion für Touristen und Einheimische.
Die Golden Gate Bridge ist mit Sicherheit die meistfotografierte Brücke der Welt und ein Synonym für San Francisco. - Der Abholort muss zum Zeitpunkt der Buchung ausgewählt werden. Dies ist der Ort, an dem Ihr GoCar reserviert wird
- Der Fahrer muss mindestens 21 Jahre alt sein und eine gültige Kreditkarte und einen gültigen Führerschein beim Check-in vorlegen. Ein Führerschein muss sich im physischen Besitz des Kunden befinden (keine Fotokopie). Für ausländische Kunden ist keine internationale Lizenz erforderlich.
- Passagiere müssen mindestens 4 Jahre alt sein und kleine Kinder müssen sicher in einen unserer von DOT zugelassenen Helme passen. Der GoCar ist als Motorrad zugelassen - für den Betrieb des Fahrzeugs ist jedoch keine Motorradlizenz erforderlich.
- Alle Mieter müssen ein Haftungsfreistellungs- und Verzichtsformular lesen, verstehen und unterschreiben können (übliche Teilnehmervereinbarung).
- Am Tag der Anmietung wird auf der Kreditkarte des Kunden eine Kaution in Höhe von 500 $ hinterlegt. Wenn ein CDW- oder SLI-Versicherungsplan ausgewählt wird, wird eine Kaution in Höhe von 300 $ einbehalten. Die Kaution wird bei Rückgabe des GoCars wieder freigegeben.
- Fremdsprachenoptionen sind auf Französisch, Spanisch, Italienisch und Deutsch verfügbar
- Für die Sicherheit und den Komfort der Passagiere beträgt die maximale Höhe 1,9 m und das Gesamtgewicht von 226,8 kg für zwei Passagiere
- Kannst du auf dem Weg aufhören?
- Ja, Sie bestimmen Ihr eigenes Tempo. Das Auto weiß immer, wo Sie sich befinden, und Sie können an beliebiger Stelle parken (Motorradparken oder Parken), solange Sie möchten, und sobald Sie wieder losfahren, fängt das Auto an zu reden!
- Müssen Sie auf der Tour bleiben?
- Absolut nicht! Wenn Sie eine Sehenswürdigkeit in San Francisco sehen möchten, die jedoch noch nicht in der Tour enthalten ist, verwenden Sie einfach die bereitgestellte Karte, um Ihren eigenen Weg durch die Straßen der Stadt zu finden.
- Fahrzeuge:

- Wie schnell fährt das Auto?
- Bis zu 35 km / h Beachten Sie, dass Fahrer in San Francisco normalerweise nicht schnell fahren. Daher kann während der Fahrt eine Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit von 30 Meilen pro Stunde oder weniger erwartet werden.
- Kannst du die Golden Gate Bridge überqueren?
- Nein, aber die Tour führt Sie nach Fort Point. Hier erhebt sich die Brücke etwa 200 Meter über Ihrem Kopf. Es besteht die Möglichkeit, die Fußgängerbrücke vom Parkplatz am Aussichtspunkt der Brücke aus zu Fuß zu erreichen.

My experience wasn’t the best. Once arrived to the shop it was so unorganized. No customer service, no one offered help. I had to wait 30 mins after my appointment to be helped and I arrived 20 mins prior to my appointment. Finally when I get checked in, signed the waiver and watched the instructional video I was given keys. My experience on the GoCar sucked. The navigation didn’t speak out loud like it should’ve even though I stay on track. They said if you go off track it won’t speak but it didn’t speak while I was on track the entire time. We got lost then kept driving in circles. I booked a two hour trip but ended it after one hour because of the issues

We loved it, we explore the city and had amazing views! We where able to snap amazing pictures was a bit cold but we loved it

Had a few challenges with finding our way round with this tour. Fun cars & easy to drive but the map is terrible - too small to read. It’s easy to get off a tour route as the navigation does not tell you where to go at every intersection. She then stops taking yo you! Tip - use your own mobile GPS - you can’t see the on board one - and know where you’re supposed to be going! Also one hour is not long enough. Allow an extra hour for checking in and getting lost!

We were originally supposed to get the 3-wheeler, but it was very chilly that day. They let us have one of the enclosed golf-cart type cars instead. We had an absolute blast! I love the audio tour guide as we drove through the various areas. We could do our own thing or stick with the GPS route. Highly recommend!!

The ride was fine, but I had to wait one hour to get into the car and the GPS that I was supposed to fallow never work.

My reservation was at 12pm and it took a hour the get out of there and started my ride. It was 200 deposit because I rented 2 go cars and after I turn the car they tried to charge me 100 and I paid for insurance and the GPS was not working. I try to change the time of my reservation and they make it so difficult that I decide not to do anything and show up at the original time.

Our experience with GoCar was below average, beginning with the check-in process. The worker was occupied with trying to figure something else out, didn’t have our waivers ready to sign, and then passed us off to another coworker once we finally signed the waivers. The checkin process took about 30 min as a result. The GoCar was louder than expected - sounded like a motorcycle in noise level. It was so loud that it was hard to hear the Guided Tour speakers. Unfortunately our GPS stopped working about 30-40 min into our 2 hour tour. We missed all the information about the Golden Gate Bridge and Crissy field, which we were most interested in seeing and learning about. We ended up getting lost due to the frozen gos/tablet. We called the service number and were told someone would FaceTime us to help and no one called us back. It ended up being incredibly stressful being lost with cars beeping at us behind us. The gocar doesn’t have a good turn radius and does not go in reverse. We had to turn around at one point because we were lost and had to get out of the GoCar in the middle of the road to push the car back to full make the turn, all the while cars on the street were beeping at us. Thankfully the GoCar staff agreed to give us a 50% refund, which is why I am not giving this 1 star. However, overall it was a stressful and unpleasant afternoon and I will not be using their services again. GoCar needs to update their technology to prevent the “overheating” that the worker claimed was the issue, however we never stopped long enough for the tablet to be exposed to the sun long enough to overheat. It simply sounded like a poor excuse for old outdated tablets/technology.

We booked the yellow car but upgraded to the ZeroMax. I highly recommend this. The GPS and narrator were excellent. We got to go to places I’ve never seen before. The tour operator was super helpful.
