Bei der Besichtigung des privaten Gobustan-Nationalparks und der Schlammvulkane können Sie die Felszeichnungen der Tiere und viele verschiedene Bilder von Menschen, Booten und Jägern entdecken, die von Höhlenbewohnern auf dem Territorium Aserbaidschans gemacht wurden. Sie werden auch reisen, um Vulkane zu sehen, die den Schlamm an die Oberfläche ziehen.

Ihre Tour beginnt mit dem Auto, das Sie vom Hotel abholt. Erstes Ziel ist das Gobustan- Das Archäologische Denkmal befindet sich in 56 km Entfernung von der Hauptstadt Baku. Die Artefakte und Felszeichnungen wurden in den Jahren 1939 - 1940 entdeckt. Den Forschern zufolge wurden mehr als 3.500 Gemälde von Menschen und Tieren sowie verschiedene Markierungen - Petroglyphen - aufgezeichnet und 20 Vorortunterkünfte an dieser Stelle identifiziert. Mesolithische Denkmäler (mittelalterlicher Stein) sind größtenteils im Naturschutzgebiet ausgestellt. Es gibt viele Höhlen, Quellen, die von primitiven Menschen an Wänden aus Höhlen, Felsen und steinigen Klumpen gemeißelt wurden. Zuerst besuchen Sie das Gobustan-Museum, um einen besseren Einblick in die Geschichte der Region zu erhalten. Anschließend fahren Sie mit dem Auto zum Rock Mountain, um die echten Schnitzereien zu sehen. Nach dem Rock Mountain besuchen Sie den Schlamm.
Vulkane. Aus diesem Grund wird das Transportmittel auf die sowjetischen Lada-Autos umgestellt. Wer möchte, kann starke Plastiktüten mitnehmen, um etwas von dem Schlamm zu sammeln, von dem gesagt wurde, dass er gut für die Haut ist. Verbringen Sie 10 Minuten in der Umgebung von Volcanoes und werden Sie zurück zu Ihrem Auto gebracht. Auf dem Weg zum Hotel besuchen Sie auch die Bibiheybet-Moschee mit ihrer wunderschönen grünen Innenausstattung und die erste industrielle Ölquelle auf der Erde, die 1846 für die Nutzung geöffnet wurde.
Die prächtige Bibiheybat-Moschee, die im klassischen orientalischen Stil erbaut wurde, ist perfekt mit weißem Marmor und kuppelfarbenem Glas gestaltet. Hier ist in einem Mosaik aus Glas die Sure al-Nisa des Korans geschrieben. Die 5 Meter hohe Moschee bietet gleichzeitig Platz für etwa 3.000 Menschen.

Paying for your own car with driver and guide to a certain point. Then you are moved over in an old Soviet car that has never been under EU control. You must pay driver at least 35 manat cash for the drive to the mud volcano and back. On skiing you must pay 10 manat per pers for entrance. We were not allowed to stop at the mosque, all in all totally ok. Tips also not included, we didn't have more cash when we were asked for tips.
Overall an excellent trip, our driver Nazir and guide Ell were friendly and professional. We got a good amount of information and the Gobustan rocks, petroglyphs amd mud volcanoes were really interesting locations. The crowning moment was to experience a flat tyre on an soviet-era Lada and to observe a F1-quality tyre change on the track! :D Good rides, great fun, highly recommend!

We went to the Gobustan petroglyphs, and enjoyed it thoroughly. (The museum tour was a bit long for the kids, and we probably could have self guided that part and enjoyed it more—no fault of the tour, that guide worked at the museum) The mud volcanos were great, but for me the highlights were a change to the schedule to stop at a beach to wade into the Caspian, and go to lunch. (It wasn’t included with the tour, so this was at our expense) We and our guide, Ilkin, ate way too many kebabs and pilaf.
Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable about everything we saw…and he taught us about Azerbaijani history and culture. The driver was very good- safe and a good experience.
Well organized with pick up from our address. Fuad is a great guide - knowledgeable and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the rock paintings from old times and the mud volcanos - the off-road drive to the volcanos in old Soviet ladas was great fun. I’ll never say anything negative about lada cars after this trip…
Very good activity. The discovery of petropgyphs was very interesting. Our guide was exciting! Mud volcanoes are also something to see, it is very surprising. In any case everything was very well organized for a reasonable price:)
