Beginnen Sie mit einer spektakulären malerischen Fahrt von Queenstown nach Glenorchy am Seeufer entlang, mit malerischen Fotopunkten und unterhaltsamen Geschichten Ihres lokalen Reiseführers über den Lake Whakatipu und seine Legenden.
Während wir diese unglaubliche Fahrt entlangfahren, halten wir an und genießen die atemberaubende Aussicht von Bennett's Bluff. Von hier aus können Sie einen ersten Blick auf Glenorchy und den dahinter liegenden Mount Aspiring National Park erhaschen.
In der Gemeinde Glenorchy leben ca. 400 ständige Einwohner und das Tor zum Paradise Valley und zum Mt. Aspiring National Park. Von Glenorchy aus folgen wir einem Feldweg, einer Einbahnstraße in den Nationalpark. Die Glenorchy-Paradise Road führt an fruchtbarem Ackerland vorbei, durch einheimische Buchenwälder und über Flussbetten. In dieser Richtung leben nicht viele, und die berühmtesten Bewohner sind die mystischen Charaktere aus LOTR und anderen Filmen, Fernsehserien und Werbespots.
Ihr Guide zeigt Ihnen berühmte Drehorte und bietet Ihnen sogar die Möglichkeit, sich als Ihre Lieblingsfigur aus Mittelerde zu verkleiden, um ein unterhaltsames Fotomotiv zu haben. Während wir die Gegend erkunden, bereiten wir in echter Gastfreundschaft der Kiwi-Südinsel an einem malerischen Ort einen Morgen-/Nachmittagstee zu, komplett mit Käsebrötchen, Ingwerkuchen, L&P und Whittakers Schokolade.
Nach Paradise kehren wir über Glenorchy zurück, wo wir einen kurzen Stopp einlegen, bevor Sie sich zurücklehnen und entspannen und die Sehenswürdigkeiten genießen können, bevor wir ins Stadtzentrum von Queenstown zurückgebracht werden.

Tour was nice. Our guide was superb. Caleb. He made the tour worthwhile although glenorchy is not worth going compared to Milford sounds

Ash was our guide. He is a knowledgeable guide. We went to Glenorchy and stopped for a short walk along the way to enjoy the view and to take some photos. We had a picnic lunch in Paradise, we were provided with some cheese toast, fruit and even ginger desert. It was a pleasant and sunny day.
