Glenfinnan Viaduct, Glencoe und Loch Shiel Tour von Glasgow

Beschreibung

The tour takes you thru the national park into Glencoe. Wonderful meal at the Crown Pub in Glencoe. The Steak.and Ale pie was delicious. The Stop at the Viaduct was also a great photo shoot with a babbling brook that has a great vantage point to see the train going over the Viaduct.

What a brilliant day out, a full day of seeing some of the best & beautiful scenery. (All be it the weather was bad) A 8.30 start, met by our driver at the bus station who was very informative and told many a tale throughout the day!. Be prepared it is 11 hours long but well worth it and we had quite a few stops to stretch your legs. Best part is of course seeing the Jacobite steam train going over the viaduct. Fully recommend and good value for money.

We had an excellent driver who shared many details, history, and funny stories along the drive. Callum had excellent suggestions and gave solid direction to the sightseers on board the bus. He is a very safe driver and gave a very good safety briefing. This is an excellent trip to the area, and a MUST SEE for all of those Harry Potter fans who want to see the Jacobite train cross the Glenfinnian Viaduct bridge. Highly recommend this tour!

Fantastic guide – Big Al! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Alan, or “Big Al”, was a fantastic tour guide and genuinely one of the best I’ve had. He was superb, extremely knowledgeable, and made the whole journey so much more enjoyable. What really stood out was how he constantly added interesting facts, stories, and little details throughout the route. It never felt like we were simply travelling from one stop to another — there was always something interesting and worthwhile to learn. The timing and planning of the tour were also excellent. The stops were very well spread out, giving us enough time to enjoy each location without feeling rushed. The timing was especially perfect for seeing the steam train passing across the Glenfinnan Viaduct, which was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. This isn’t my first Highland tour, so I’ve experienced a few different guides, and Big Al definitely ranks among the very best. In fact, I feel compelled to write this 5-star review before I’ve even finished the tour — I’m writing this on the way back! That’s how impressed I’ve been with the experience. Thank you, Big Al, for making the trip such a memorable one. Highly recommended!

We very much appreciate the funny and informative, Karen for our bus driver she was so good! I did get a little motion sickness but that was because of the roads and because of sitting in the back of the van. The visit was the perfect amount of time, it was a little longer than expected but we didn’t have any plans afterwards so it was a nice day out of the busy city. The experience itself was perfect and we got to see the other side of Scotland that we wouldn’t have known about if it wasn’t for the tour. I hope everyone books this tour!
