Das historische Haus des Herzogs von Argyll, Häuptling des Clans Campbell, eingebettet in große schöne Gärten mit Blick auf Loch Fyne. Alternativ erkunden Sie die weiß getünchten georgianischen Häuser der Stadt, breite Straßen und atemberaubende Ausblicke über den See. Inveraray Castle ist Donnerstag bis Montag, 1. April – 31. Oktober für Besucher geöffnet
Anschließend passieren wir Kilchurn Castle, eines der meistfotografierten Burgen Schottlands, eingebettet am Ufer des Loch Awe und schön eingerahmt von Bergen.
Anschließend machen wir einen Halt zum Mittagessen in der malerischen Hafenstadt Oban, „Tor zu den Inseln“, mit freier Zeit, um die Hufeisenbucht zu erkunden und McCaig’s Folly zu sehen, einen ikonischen Turm aus dem 19. Jahrhundert, der an das Kolosseum in Rom erinnert
Nach einer freien Erkundungstour fahren wir weiter an Castle Stalker aus dem 15. Jahrhundert vorbei, das auf einer kleinen Insel am Loch Laich liegt.
Glencoe, einer der gespenstischsten Zungen Schottlands und Ort des 1692 Massakers des MacDonald Clan.
Im schönen Naturschutzdorf Luss auf dem "Bonnie, Bonnie Banks" von Loch Lomond können wir entlang der Küste spazieren oder das Dorf bewundern, bevor wir nach Glasgow zurückkehren, wo Ihre Oban-Tour endet.

The tour was great. I could see a lot of things I had never seen before. The stops for pictures were very worth it and our driver Jerry was very knowledgeable about the places we were visiting.

We had a fantastic time with our Guide Jack. The weather was cooperating and it was beautiful. Jack was very knowledgeable and entertaining and told us a lot of interesting facts. There were plenty of stops to enjoy the views and sites or to just use the bathroom. I can highly recommend.
The tour guides, Michelle and Blair were excellent. They kept spirits high and entertained us all day with stories, songs and laughs. I took my book for the long day out and never once thought to take it out. The two of them went above and beyond. The sights and scenery were breathtaking and we all loved every twist and turn in the road. Thank you Michelle and Blair for a truly memorable day.

Robert, our driver told some interesting historic stories. Fun to see the highlands up close. We even saw some random hairy coos in some fields!

We did five private tours with Timberbush. All were coordinated through the bespoke consultant Paulina. She was awesome and incredibly helpful. I had to make a big change too all the dates I originally booked but Paulina was so patient and helpful and I could not appreciate her more! Our Driver Guide was Chris. I can't say enough about him. He had four adults and two kids under the age of ten. He was so patient with my grandkids. We also had to deal with Storm Amy while we were there and it hit hard while on our tour of Glencoe. Chris managed to get us back to the hotel safe and sound and we appreciated his skilled driving and calm demeanor in the storm. He was also a very knowledgeable guide who answered all our questions and would recommend him to anyone looking to do a private tour with Timberbush.

Great tour to Highlands, very beautiful city of Oban and castles. Long trip from Glasgow Pre booked through Viator. Worth the loong visit of 9 hours
