Begleiten Sie uns an Bord des Red Bus Bistro für ein Gin Tea-Erlebnis. Ab der George Street dauert die Tour ungefähr 90 Minuten. Während dieser Zeit besuchen wir die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten von Glasgow, darunter: Provand’s Lordship, das gehobene West End, die Glasgow University, die Kelvingrove Art Gallery und das Transport Museum.

Die Nekropole ist ein viktorianischer Gartenfriedhof voller wundervoller Architektur, Skulpturen und faszinierender Geschichten. Die Nekropole grenzt an die Kathedrale von Glasgow und wurde nach dem Vorbild von Père-Lachaise in Paris erbaut. Schätzungen zufolge hat hier etwas in der Größenordnung von 50.000 Bestattungen mit rund 3.500 Gräbern stattgefunden
Die Wellpark-Brauerei von Tennent ist seit Generationen Teil Schottlands und seiner Kultur. Die historische Brauerei produziert seit 1885 preisgekrönte Biere.
Der siebenstöckige Tolbooth Steeple ist das wichtigste Merkmal von Glasgow Cross und wird von einer Uhr und einer Steinkrone gekrönt. Dies war einst Teil eines viel größeren Gebäudes, des Tolbooth, in dem das Büro des Stadtschreibers, das Rathaus und das Stadtgefängnis untergebracht waren
Dies war eine der beliebtesten Attraktionen auf der Internationalen Ausstellung von 1888 im Kelvingrove Park, einem Wahrzeichen, das mehr als 5,7 Millionen Besucher anzog. Der Doulton-Brunnen ist der größte Brunnen, der jemals aus Keramik gebaut wurde.
Der Volkspalast befindet sich im historischen Glasgow Green. Es beherbergt eine Sammlung von Objekten, Fotografien, Drucken und Filmen, die einen einzigartigen Einblick in das Leben, Arbeiten und Spielen der Glasweger in den vergangenen Jahren geben.
Die Kingston Bridge ist eine freitragende, zweispannige, zehnspurige Straßenbrücke aus dreizelligen, segmentierten Spannbetonkastenträgern, die den Fluss Clyde in Glasgow, Schottland, überqueren. Die Kingston Bridge, die die Autobahn M8 durch die Innenstadt führt, ist eine der am stärksten frequentierten Brücken Europas und befördert täglich rund 150.000 Fahrzeuge.

Das SEC Armadillo ist ein stilvolles, zweckmäßig erbautes Gebäude und ein Wahrzeichen von Glasgow. Es wurde von den weltberühmten Architekten Foster + Partners entworfen und läutete bei seiner Eröffnung im Jahr 1997 eine neue Ära für die SEC und Glasgows lebhafte Uferpromenade ein.
Die SSE Hydro ist eine Mehrzweckhalle auf dem Scottish Event Campus in Glasgow, Schottland. Die Arena wurde ursprünglich nach ihrem Hauptsponsor, dem Energieunternehmen Scottish & Southern Energy, Scottish Hydro, benannt
Glasgows erste Single Malt Scotch Whisky Distillery seit über 100 Jahren. Besuchererlebnis, Cafe und Specialist Whisky Shop im Herzen von Glasgow.

- Gäste sollten damit rechnen, dass sie sich einen Tisch teilen müssen, insbesondere bei unseren stark besuchten Wochenendtouren. Wenn Gäste lieber keinen Tisch teilen möchten, können wir versuchen, sie auf einer ruhigeren Tour unterzubringen.
- Besucher werden gebeten, 5 – 10 Minuten vor Abfahrt in der Shuttle Street einzutreffen. Leider können wir nicht auf Zuspätkommende warten, da wir nur eine begrenzte Zeit am Stand haben. Zuspätkommenden wird keine Rückerstattung angeboten.

- Der Bus von Red Bus Bistro wurde 1966 zugelassen. Er besteht aus Fahrerkabine, Oberdeck und Unterdeck und hat immer mindestens 4 Mitarbeiter an Bord. Der Bus hat unten 12 und oben 28 Sitzplätze. Aufgrund des Alters und der Bauart des Busses können wir leider keine Rollstuhlfahrer unterbringen. Red Bus Bistro kann für Personen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität im Voraus Sitzplätze im Unterdeck reservieren. Wie oben beschrieben, sollten die Gäste ansonsten darauf vorbereitet sein, sich einen Tisch zu teilen. Wenn die Gäste lieber alleine sitzen möchten, können wir versuchen, sie auf einer ruhigeren Tour unterzubringen, dies kann jedoch nicht garantiert werden.
- Das Rauchen ist im Bus grundsätzlich nicht gestattet.
- Wir bieten in unseren Bussen keine Live- oder aufgezeichneten Reisekommentare an. Wir bieten ein kulinarisches Erlebnis während einer Tour durch Edinburgh oder Glasgow.
- Wir möchten darauf hinweisen, dass wir mit historischen Routemaster-Bussen unterwegs sind. Obwohl wir unsere Fahrzeuge in bestmöglichem Wartungszustand halten, kann es vorkommen, dass unvorhergesehene Wartungsprobleme auftreten und zu einer Unterbrechung der Touren oder zu einer Absage führen. Absolutely fabulous from start to finish. Jim the driver kept us all safe and even assisted us up to sit behind the wheel. Helen our host made the day, she was just fantastic. Was so much more than we expected, loved the banter and the sing a long. Only thing I would add is the seats are not built for 2 larger ladies to sit side by side. Will definitely book again ❤️

4 of us went along to the Glasgow Red Bus Afternoon Gin tour 12th October and had a great afternoon. The staff onboard Helen, Talula and I think Stuart was the driver, were all fab. Helen kept us all entertained and made the tour fun. Will defo do it again with other friends/family.

American here. It was a cute experience, but I wouldn’t really call it a tour. The guide only named a few spots (like 3-4) and it was basic information you’d probably see on Google maps. A lot of mayo in the sandwiches, but that seems to be a UK thing in general. Cute atmosphere and very good gin tea. If you want just a nice bus ride around town I recommend, but yes if you’re looking for an educational tour experience this is not that, which was disappointing for us and left us feeling like we didn’t really get a tour experience. It’s a nice drive with lunch, not a tour.

The bus is beautifully decorated, the staff were so welcoming and friendly. The service was excellent and the afternoon tea, drinks and cocktails were all lovely. A great itinerary and a fab way to see the city. Would totally recommend for locals and tourists alike. The staff were excellent throughout and really made this a special experience.

This was the most fun experience to start our time in Edinburgh. It was such a great way to get the overview of the city and just have a few laughs. The food was surprisingly good. The scones were awesome. The other guests were fun as well
