The tour was really excellent going to places which are not on the usual tourist route. Stuart was a funny knowledgeable guide with lots of stories and anecdotes that made the tour unique. I would highly recommend this tour if you are able to ride a bike
Love this Janet! Thanks for highlighting that this really is suitable for anyone who can ride a bike...and of course the ebikes make it more comfortable :) and yes, it's all about the stories and anecdotes and less about facts :)
Loved my day in Glasgow with my best friend Connor. It was just the right balance of history, culture, exercise, and alcohol. Will highly recommend.
Thanks so much for the kind words! 😊 Delighted you and Connor had such a great day — that mix of history, culture, a bit of pedalling and a wee dram is exactly what we aim for. Really appreciate the recommendation!
Can’t recommend enough - you’ll be able to see the whole city in just a few hours with enough stops of historical interest and the kindest guides. Connor is your best friend for the day. Def will send friends and family.
Thanks so much for the amazing review! 😊 Delighted you enjoyed seeing so much of the city in just a few hours — and Connor will be chuffed to hear he was your best pal for the day! Really appreciate you recommending us to friends and family.
Biking is such a great way to get to know a city, even though I live in Glasgow I saw places I would've never seen if it wasn't for this bike tour. Martin was our tour guide, and he was amazing, as a Glaswegian he knows so much about the city. We went with the e-bikes, which made our lives a lot easier. The stop at the Clydeside distillery is really nice, the distillery has a great story and the whiskey itself is also pretty nice:)
Thanks for taking the time to review - we agree, this is a great tour :)
The tour was fabulous! We loved our guide Martin. He was knowledgeable, charming, and friendly. We would give this tour ten stars if we could!
We're delighted to read this! Thank you for the great review!
We had a wonderful tour with Martin! The e-bikes we took really save us a lot of effort and offer different modes to choose from. Martin was really nice and professional throughout the tour, the introduction to some of the city's historical and scenic sites was very impressive! Overall the experience has been exceptional, would definitely recommend to someone who's enthusiastic to cycling and exploring Glasgow.
Thank you for your review - so glad you got so much out of it!
The e-bike & Distillery Tour was great. We saw places that I would never had seen had it not been for this tour. As we only had limited time to see everything I took the hop on hop off bus the next day & went back to Riverside Museum & Kelvinmore Art Gallery & Museum to have a good look around. Would highly recommend as the e-bikes very very easy to ride
Thank you Linda - sounds like our tour was great to give you an orientation of some of the highlights!
I had an amazing time with the E-biking group tour that included the whiskey distillery. Martin is super knowledgeable and took us to places that were very interesting. We had time to stop for some quick pictures and to learn a little more about specific places along the way. If you want an active way to see the city and park paths, I highly recommend it. This tour was just what I was looking for, and Martin delivered a great experience.
Thank you Vanessa for your review! We agree with you - this is the best way to see the city :)
We enjoyed our e-bikes, the bikes took all the physical stress out of our trip. Our guide was courteous, caring and entertaining. He shared so much history about Glasgow and entertained us with his Scottish stories of folklore and magic. We had a chance to preview so many important buildings such as the university and museums for future exploration. At the near end of our tour we visited the Clydeside Distillery, really enjoyed the making of whiskey and especially the tasting. Worth the ride to get a true view of Glasgow
Thank you so much for your kind words and lovely review :) rwally gkad you got lots of tips for further exploration too - this is one of the benefits of a good bike tour :)
A great way to see some of the highlights of Glasgow. We had a few hours in town during a recent cruise and opted for this tour. I had no experience with e-bikes and had spine surgery a few months earlier so I was somewhat anxious but our guide was wonderful and I ended up having a terrific time. The guide was knowledgable and we had some great short stops where we could take photos. The bikes were in good condition and most of the paths were dedicated bike lanes. The meeting point is a short walk from the central train station .
Thank you Helen - glad you enjoyed the tour - you chose well ;) Also, well done for getting out and trying something after surgery - hope the recovery and rehab journey keeps going smoothly!
