Our guide was great. He was professional, provided interesting information, and accommodated both those who wanted to walk around the sights in Auvers-sur-Oise and those who had issues and could not walk that far.
This tour was so interesting especially with our guide Marteen. He was very knowledgeable not only on Monet and Van Gogh lives but on the art also. He truly made this tour extremely fun .
Thank you for your lovely review! We’re delighted you enjoyed following in Monet and Van Gogh’s footsteps. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with our guide, we’re happy he made the tour so interesting and fun! - Alice
Excellent tour and guide (Serena)! This experience takes you to 2 places in one day - (1) Giverny - Monet's house and gardens and (2) Auvers-sur-Oise - van Gogh's residence for the last 70 days of his life and burial site. Although both are within an hour of Paris, it would be very difficult (most likely impossible) to visit both by public transportation in one day. With respect to Giverny, the guide (Serena) did an excellent job of preparing us for the visit with lots of information while in transit. She also made sure that we were among the first in line to visit the always-crowded lily ponds. With respect to Auvers-sur-Oise, we visited the room in which he died, his burial site, and various locations in the town which appear in some of 74 works he painted while living there. The guide had copies of the works so we were able to compare the actual location with his vision. Highly recommended.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We’re delighted you enjoyed the tour and that Serena made the experience so informative and well-organized. It’s great to hear you appreciated both Giverny and Auvers-sur-Oise and the historical insights along the way. - Alice

Excellent, very informative tour. Our guide was very knowledge, and happy to talk about topics beyond the featured artists and their art. She handled the trip and trip logistics perfectly! She was the “gold standard” for this type tour!!!

Michael was a wonderful tour guide. Even though it was hot the tour of Giverny was gorgeous. And I learned more about Vincent van Gough at his last house. All round fantastic tour guide
Going to Paris? Do not miss going to Giverny for the day. Learned so much and took so many photos of Giverny and Monets gardens…stunning!
Highly recommend! Our guide, Clement, was fantastic - safe driver, knowledgeable, and personable. The day was planned extremely well, we never felt rushed and visiting Van Gogh sites was a bucket list item for me. We had a great group as well

I had a great experience. The trip is designed very thoughtful and covers both places I would like to see. Our tour guide Serena was always on time and gave very clear and detailed instructions about the trip. She was also very helpful and knowledgeable about the sites we visited.
Thank you for your kind review! We're delighted to hear that you had a great experience and enjoyed visiting both Giverny and Auvers-sur-Oise. We'll be sure to pass your compliments on to Serena. Thank you for joining us, and we hope to welcome you back on another tour soon! Kind regards, - Alice
Claude Monet lived the latter part of his life creating flower and water gardens at his home in Giverney. There he painted his famous water lilies. Vincent Van Gogh spent his last 70 days in Auvers Sur Oise before committing suicide. There he painted his last 70+ important paintings. For an art lover, this trip is heaven. If you’re lucky enough to get Clement as your guide, it is heaven on steroids.
