Während der Fahrt nach Girona lässt uns unser erfahrener Reiseleiter in die faszinierende Geschichte und Kultur Kataloniens eintauchen und bereitet uns auf die Entdeckung einer Stadt voller Charme und Überraschungen vor. Nach unserer Ankunft machen wir eine Führung zu den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten: Wir schlendern durch das historische jüdische Viertel, überqueren die berühmte Eiffelbrücke und bewundern die ikonischen bunten Häuser des Flusses Onyar, die Basilika Sant Feliu und die majestätische Kathedrale von Girona. Nach der Tour haben Sie Zeit, die Stadt in Ihrem eigenen Tempo zu erkunden: Schlendern Sie durch die engen Gassen, genießen Sie die lokale Küche oder entspannen Sie einfach auf einem der gemütlichen Plätze. Später fahren wir nach Figueres, dem Geburtsort von Salvador Dalí und einem Muss an der Costa Brava.

Our guide Flavia was great. She throughly explained all the highlights of each stop. We would not have been able to see and truly appreciate as much on our own. I specially not in 1 day. She gave great recommendations and was very clear with our timing and meeting points. It was already a long day but we wish we could have had a bit more time in Girona and Figueres as there was so much to see in these two cities and it felt rushed. Cadaqués was quaint, charming, and very calming to stroll the old quarter and the boardwalk.

We had a lovely time on this day tour to the three locations. Flavia was an excellent guide and tour leader. She explained much about the culture and history of Girona, and was very personable and very organized.

It’s a good overview of the three towns. I’m one day it is hard to really go in depth in any of them. Tour guide was very knowledgeable but I would have preferred more time that she was taking us around the towns. Bus was hot.

EXCEPTIONAL GUIDE: PAULINA!!! The tour would not have been as enjoyable without Paulina as a guide, we’re sure of it. She is not only very knowledgeable in history, art, culture and so much more, but she is also very skilled at communicating and presenting the information in a natural way, a smooth flow; she is funny and entertaining, so it doesn’t feel like a classroom. By a stroke of sheer luck, she was our guide on two totally unrelated tours, and we were so happy. All three locations on this tour are beautiful, we just wish there were more hours in the day to stay longer in each place.
