Giant's Causeway Tour mit Game of Thrones Sites ab Belfast

Beschreibung

It was well worth it everything about the trip was spot on the coach was clean, driver was excellent.
From start to finish it was wonderful, from the tour guide and driver were very informative about the exceptional tour, it was a long day but so worth it would highly recommend to all and I would love to experience it again x
I booked the Allen’s Belfast Bus Tours Giants Causeway tour expecting to actually have enough time to experience the places advertised on the itinerary. Unfortunately, the entire day felt rushed, poorly managed and, frankly, like a waste of money. The time allocations were completely inadequate: Carrickfergus Castle — 15 minutes We were told there wasn’t enough time to go inside. I managed to take a quick photo of the outside and use the bathroom before we had to leave. Portaneevy Viewpoint — 5 minutes Five minutes was barely enough time to find somewhere discreet to use the toilet and take a quick photo. There was certainly no time to properly take in the viewpoint. Dark Hedges — 1 hour An hour was nowhere near enough to comfortably walk the length of the road and back, while also having lunch. I walked the Hedges first and I’m glad I did because we were so rushed that I didn’t even sit down for lunch — I simply grabbed a drink. To make matters worse, we ended up leaving someone behind because of the rushed schedule. Bushmills Distillery — 15 minutes Again, completely inadequate. I had enough time to use the toilet and grab a takeaway Coke, but certainly not enough time to properly experience the distillery. On top of that, the driver then spent around 10 additional minutes smoking and chatting with drivers from other tour companies while we were waiting. When you are already being given ridiculously short amounts of time at each attraction, wasting another ten minutes of the tour like this is incredibly frustrating. Giant’s Causeway — 1 hour This was the main attraction I had booked the tour for, yet even here we were rushed. By the time we travelled down and back on the bus, there was only around 10–15 minutes to actually spend at the Causeway itself. That is nowhere near enough time to properly experience one of Northern Ireland’s biggest attractions. Dunluce Castle The itinerary indicated this as a stop, but we didn’t stop there at all. I confronted the driver at this point and he said it’s not a scheduled stop even though I showed him the website and others had also complained. The biggest issue isn’t simply that the tour was busy. It’s that the itinerary appears to promise an experience that the actual schedule simply does not allow for. You spend the entire day getting off the bus, taking one or two photos, using the toilet if you’re lucky, and then being told it’s time to get back on. A sightseeing tour should allow people to sightsee. I appreciate that tours have schedules and that there are logistical constraints, but this was beyond being a little rushed. There was virtually no opportunity to properly enjoy several of the places we travelled all that way to see. I left feeling like I had spent a significant amount of money travelling around Northern Ireland just to briefly photograph places from a distance. Very disappointing, and absolutely not the experience I expected from the advertised itinerary. I would not recommend this tour.
Really enjoyed our trip. Mark our driver was very friendly and informative with his commentary. Would definitely recommend
The experience was not as described, the said luxury coach was just a bog standard coach with the onboard toilet locked so you couldn't use it if needed The sound system on the bus didn't work so our guided tour just became a long drive through places with us not knowing where we were or any of the points of interest/history about them, the driver told us that the sound system has been like that for over a week and yet the company were still sending it out on tours. Stops along the way we're not long enough to enjoy where you were.
This is must see place in Ireland , if you ever come to belfast, you should visit it , it naturally built around millions of years back by volcano and once you visit this you won't believe its natural as the stones are arranged . Anyway this is an approved world heritage site for tourism
It was marvellous to travel the North East coast of Ireland, which is beautiful. The driver also had lots of information about places we drove through as well as people who had originated from those places, which included the 7th President of America. The stopping place times were adequate for what was needed to be seen. The causeway and game of thrones parts were excellent and lunch at the dark hedges hotel was really nice; and in summing up, the journey was educational and thoroughly enjoyable.
The tour was what we expected. Unfortunately on return journey to Belfast the bus broke down on the motorway. Driver didn't communicate what he was going to do and didn't ask all passengers to leave the bus as is standard safety guidance if on the hard shoulder. Around half of us did get off the bus and were then asked to get back on as he was going to try and get the bus to start. We boarded and the bus travelled around 500m along hard shoulder before breaking down again. As before no information given to passengers. We got off again and stood on embankment. In around 10 minutes a passing tour bus stopped and 12 of us got on while the rest, some still on the bus some on embankment were left. Extremely poor management of a breakdown situation that I would expect a tour company to have standard operating and passengers safety procedures in place
excellent day trip. great driver with a great knowledge of the area visited
It was overall a great experience. Places were covered and clear instructions provided. Time maintained as well.
