Justine did a wonderful job! She let us get out at certain “picture perfect” locations and take photos of the incredible views. Yes you are in the car longer than your at the stops but the villages and the lake were incredible. Bring meds if you get car sick.
This was a great way to see some of the beautiful small villages and countryside outside of Nice! The Gorge was beautiful and it was great to be able to rent a boat (or kayak or swim) in the Gorge! Justine was a wonderful guide and we highly recommend this excursion!

This is an all day tour. Lots of driving on winding roads with little time to explore. The van was tight and the driver was bad. The diver knew nothing about any of the places, could not answer basic questions. He was late picking us up and accused us of being at fault when we had been at the door for 45 minutes waiting. When we arrived at a scheduled stop we were told to get out of the van and be back in a set period. That is okay, but we weren't given basic information like, where the bathrooms were located. At one point in the trip the driver went speeding through the scene of an accident. The police made him stop and scolded him. When we arrived at the Gorge du Verdon, it was recommended that we complete our trip up the river in 45 minutes or less. We took all of the allotted hour. There were not enough stops at view points. And crazy, unsafe driving throughout.

The vehicle used for this excursion is a new, spacious Peugeot minivan that meets all applicable passenger transport standards and is entirely suitable for this type of tour. We understand that individual perceptions of comfort may vary. Regarding the pick-up, the driver arrived at the agreed and previously confirmed time, but no one was present at the meeting point. He attempted to contact you but received no response. As this was a shared tour, he had to continue collecting the other passengers before returning to pick you up. The resulting wait was therefore caused by your absence at the confirmed pick-up time. We communicate the exact pick-up time to every customer in advance, and it must be respected to avoid delaying the other participants. The driver-guide provided information and commentary about the places visited throughout the journey. We regret that the level of detail did not meet your personal expectations. Regarding your comments about the driving, we take all safety concerns seriously and will review the matter directly with the driver-guide. This is a full-day shared excursion covering several destinations. The Verdon Gorge is located a considerable distance from Nice, and reaching it naturally requires several hours of driving, including travel on winding mountain roads. The itinerary and duration are stated in the activity description. The tour was operated according to the published programme and schedule. Best regards
Dennis picked us up right on time at our location. He had a strong knowledge of all the areas we visited, and kept us on track regarding time in each location. Really enjoyed the small villages we visited! Seeing the Gorge from a high vantage point was breathtaking! And then having the opportunity to visit the base of the Gorge was wonderful. Originally planned to swim, but elected to rent a boat and navigate into the Gorge, which was extremely beautiful! Highly recommend this experience! Thank you Dennis! Beautiful to view, loved renting little boat. But the drive was long, lots of turns. Visit was too short in villages, also at the lake. We were more exhausted from the long drive. Elton, our driver was a professional.
