Geschichte und Spaß Halbtagestour durch Rom

Chris came and picked us up at the Hotel right on time. He gave a very informative and interesting tour of all the highlights of Rome. Definitely a great experience.

I booked this tour as an introduction to Rome for my senior mother. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for an amazing day in Italy. They personalized everything to make it a perfect day for us. We learned and saw things we never knew about and were able to access everything so easily. 10/10 experience!!!

Christiano did a great job of making sure we saw everything we had not seen so far! He showed us the best places to take pictures and where to shop/eat.

Roberto was our guide for this split tour--he handled the half-day driving tour. I wish it had been communicated to us in advance that the itinerary was customizable as Roberto alternately chided me for not telling him in advance that we wanted to see some sights not listed on the website's itinerary (the Trevi Fountain), and then decided to skip a listed stop I'd already told him was important to me (the Spanish Steps) because he thought it was close enough to our hotel that we should just walk there instead the next day. Instead he clearly wanted to avoid traffic in the more congested areas and started taking us outside the city walls to multiple sights not on the itinerary. We had no objection to seeing those things, but he was visibly annoyed when I insisted that we double back to the Spanish Steps since our itinerary for the rest of our days in Rome was pretty packed. We've taken many guided tours both with just our family and with larger groups, and I can't say I've ever experienced a guide not following the published itinerary without explicitly checking with the guests ahead of time to make sure we were okay with changes.

During our approx. one week in Rome, we booked all of our tours each day with Miles & Miles, and we'd highly recommend others do the same (instead of booking tours with different companies). Their entire team worked together to make our tours easy, efficient, and of very high quality. We told them what we were generally interested in seeing during the week, and Miles & Miles took care of the rest. They gladly modified tour itineraries to make sure we didn't see the same things twice within the different tours on different days, they altered pick-up points, drop-off points, and tour times to make it easier and more efficient or us to go from one tour to the next, and the dinner recommendations provided by Roberto in Rome and Florence were outstanding! The high quality of tours & great recommendations combined with great coordination & flexibility on their part made this an excellent vacation for our family of four!

Christiano personalized our tour to perfection. We hit all the highlights of antiquity and then some. He had a depth of historical knowledge that provided meaningful context to the sights we visited. The tour was exactly what I was hoping for as an introduction to Rome.

We experienced the full day History and Fun Tour -- wonderful time with Francesco. He took us throughout Rome as well as the area he grew up - stopped for cappuccino at a shop where he would get the drink almost every day on the way to school. Went into the countryside and had a wonderful time having wine, cheese and meat at one of his best friend's restaurant - saw the wine cellar - fabulous. Would recommend this tour to anyone

Not enough good things to say about Miles and Miles. On time, friendly, knowledgeable, etc.., you get the idea. Based on Rick Steve’s recommendation we used M&M for airport transfers and a city tour. The day touring Rome with M&M was the highlight of our 17 day trip. Christian and Roberto showed us their Rome. It was incredible as we saw areas we never would have found on our own. And the history we learned about was amazing. Roberto recommended a locally owned Tratoria for us to have lunch at and it was fabulous!!!! When in Rome, rely on miles and Miles to make your trip extra special.

We had a few days in Rome before a cruise and needed to make the most use of our time. Roberto drove us to the highlights in a way that avoided the crowds and provided a history lesson that was memorable. Being able to walk the Appian Way was wonderful. We mentioned that we would have liked to see the Pantheon but the lines were too long. Roberto got us passes for after the tour, with only a five minute wait. He was terrific and highly recommended. We will definitely be back for another tour. Thank you!

What an amazing tour. Roberto was wonderful. He provided great historical information and was easy to understand. We got to see a lot of the city and had a very memorable 5 hours with Roberto. I would highly recommend this Tour. Roberto is Great !
