Dies ist nicht die übliche "touristische" Tour, sondern ein philosophischer Spaziergang, zwischen den antiken Sehenswürdigkeiten, die die beste Kulisse bieten, um diese erstaunliche Transformation zu überblicken. Die vorsokratischen Philosophen gaben uns das, was als die einzig wahre „Entdeckung“ in der Wissenschaft angesehen werden kann: dass unsere Welt durch Naturgesetze verstanden werden kann, deren Identifizierung es den Menschen ermöglichen könnte, ihre Umgebung und sogar sich selbst zu begreifen... Lasst uns gemeinsam diesen faszinierenden Wandel der menschlichen Wahrnehmung erforschen und herausfinden, wo wir heute stehen!

Dieser Ort war das Herz der Stadt Athen. Philosophen wie Sokrates, Plato, Politiker wie Solon, Themistokles, Perikles, Thukydides, Sophokles, Aristofanis, die das „Dream Team“ von Athen bildeten, prominente Athener und einfache Bürger gingen hierher und führten Diskussionen und Debatten für alle Angelegenheiten.
Wir machen einen gemütlichen Spaziergang durch den farbenfrohen Flohmarkt von Athen mit vielen Antiquitäten- und Touristengeschäften.
Die Hadriansbibliothek wurde vom römischen Kaiser Hadrian im Jahr 132 n. Chr. auf der Nordseite der Akropolis von Athen gegründet und war damals die zweitgrößte der Welt.
Die römische Agora in Athen befindet sich nördlich der Akropolis und östlich der antiken Agora.
Das achteckige Gebäude namens Turm der Winde wurde vom Astronomen Andronicus von Kyrristos im 1. Jahrhundert v. Chr. Errichtet und diente sowohl als Windanzeiger als auch als Uhr, war also der „Big Ben“ von Athen und auch die meteorologische Station von Athen die Stadt. Die Uhr war solar, aber an bewölkten Tagen gab es auch einen hydraulischen Mechanismus, der jede Stunde ein Geräusch erzeugte! Sie gilt als die erste Meteostation.
Plaka ist ein malerisches Viertel von Athen mit kleinen Häusern und malerischen engen Gassen.
Pnyx Hill war das erste Parlament der Welt. Dieser Ort bietet eine großartige Aussicht auf die Gegend und ist ein großartiger Ort, um den Sonnenuntergang zu sehen. Es ist auch kostenlos, genau wie die besten Dinge im Leben.
Der Philoppapos-Hügel (oder Hügel der Musen) bietet die besten Aussichten auf Akrpolis und Athen bei Nacht.

Bery ingormational, interesting and educational tour given by a very knowledgeable and good speaker. Panos have a good tour with much information about the politics and democracy of ancient Greece, along with philosophies and myths of the ancient Greeks and how these philosophical thinkers affected modern thinking.

Very detailed tour covering Ancient Greece and the philosophers and historical people who created the principles of a democratic state. The walk included going up hill over looking Athens. The views were dramatic, especially the evening we went when there was a rainbow. The professor was a little long winded, but in general we really appreciated his knowledge and learned a lot.
We did the tour two days ago and it was the highlight of our trip! Panos was truly excellent. He injected so much fun and humour into the tour; we loved every second. We learned so much and have bookmarked his website for further reading when we get home. The tour covered the history of Athens and how philosophy, democracy and mythology shaped and continue to influence both ancient Athens and the modern world. Panos was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging throughout. We particularly loved the demonstration of Pythagoras’ cup - so much so that we bought one as a souvenir the next day! We saw so many hidden gems of Athens that we would’ve otherwise missed, such as the prison ruins where Socrates was executed and the ancient cemetery. This tour is a wonderful way to explore the city and its extensive, beautiful, complicated culture. Thank you Panos!
