Dieses Erlebnis bietet einen authentischen tiefen Einblick in die kulinarische Tradition Genuas, nur wenige Schritte vom Geburtsort Christoph Kolumbus entfernt. Sie lernen, echtes genovesisches Pesto mit einem traditionellen Marmormörser und Holzstössel zuzubereiten – so wie es die Einheimischen seit Jahrhunderten tun. In unserem kleinen handwerklichen „Essen und Wein“-Laden im Herzen der Altstadt gelegen, ist das Erlebnis praktisch, authentisch und voller Geschmack. Probieren Sie hochwertige lokale Zutaten und genießen Sie Ihr handgemachtes Pesto mit trofiösen Nudeln, gepaart mit einer geführten Verkostung ligurischer Weine. Was dieses Erlebnis wirklich besonders macht, ist unser familiäres Engagement : Die Klasse wird von uns gemeinsam mit Gaia, unserer Tochter, geleitet, die die jüngste Finalistin bei der Pesto-Weltmeisterschaft in Genua (März 2026) war. Dies ist nicht nur ein Kochkurs, sondern eine echte Verbindung zu ligurischer Kultur, Traditionen und familiärer Gastfreundschaft.

The team at Bio Tigullio5terre is amazing. With the pesto lesson, they taught us in a simple, informative, and calm manner how to prepare an excellent Genovese pesto. The tasting of pesto paired with chestnut pasta and local wines was delicious👍.

First of all, Barbara was completely amazing! She was so welcoming and her shop left me in awe! I love that the items in her shop for sale were from locals. The class was something my husband and I will never forget! I can’t wait to make pesto for my family here in the states!

Personal hands-on class by a friendly and warm host. Takes place in a charming shop that focuses on Ligurian products. Excellent class for all levels. Your work pays off with a delicious lunch made with your pesto and local wine. If you like pesto and have never made it Genovese style (with a mortar and pestle), then this is for you!

This was a fantastic experience with our children, ages 13 and 17. The shop is amazing and we were guided step by step in making a delicious pesto, which we enjoyed over trofi pasta with some wines from the local area. A highly recommended experience while in Genoa.
