Bellagio, auch bekannt als die „Perle des Comer Sees“, liegt dort, wo die beiden Arme des Sees zusammenfließen. Das Dorf bezaubert mit seinen eleganten historischen Villen, Gärten mit Blick aufs Wasser, Steintreppen und malerischen, stimmungsvollen Gassen. Bevor die Kreuzfahrt das kleine Dorf Pescallo erreicht, passiert sie die markante Felswand östlich von Bellagio und bildet so eine atemberaubende natürliche Kulisse. Pescallo ist ein uraltes Fischerdorf, gemütlich und authentisch, mit Häusern, die aufs Wasser blicken, und einer friedlichen, zeitlosen Atmosphäre.
Sobald wir das Dorf Rivabianca erreichen, machen wir einen Zwischenstopp für einen kleinen Imbiss im ruhigen Wasser der kleinen Bucht, einer privaten und entspannenden Ecke eingebettet zwischen See und Bergen. Das Dorf hat sich eine authentische und ruhige Atmosphäre bewahrt, mit wenigen Häusern, die auf das Wasser blicken, und einer Landschaft, die über die Zeit unverändert geblieben ist. Von der Bucht aus kann man die alte Burg Lierna sehen, eine mittelalterliche Festungsanlage mit Blick auf den See. Heute sind noch einige historische Bauwerke und Teile der Mauern erkennbar, Zeugnisse der alten Verteidigungsanlagen des Dorfes.
Auf dem Rückweg nach Varenna ist es zu sehen. Ursprünglich ein altes Kloster, wandelte es sich im Laufe der Jahrhunderte zu einer Adelsresidenz. Berühmt ist es für seinen weitläufigen botanischen Garten, der sich am Ufer entlangzieht und einen der schönsten und stimmungsvollsten Ausblicke auf den Comer See bietet.
In der Ferne, oberhalb von Varenna, kann man die Burg Vezio sehen, eine alte mittelalterliche Festung, die vom Gipfel des Vorgebirges aus den See beherrscht. Seine Panoramalage bietet einen strategischen Blick auf die beiden Arme des Comer Sees und stellt eines der bekanntesten historischen Zeugnisse der Region dar.
Ankunft am Anleger von Varenna und Ausschiffungsprozeduren. Die Crew wird den Gästen beim Verlassen des Katamarans behilflich sein und die Tour so geordnet und entspannt mitten im Herzen des Dorfes beenden.

Bring your swim suits! Paolo was a great host for this outing on lake Como. He provided some prosecco, snacks, and played music as we cruised the lake. We stopped in the middle and took a dip in the water which was super refreshing! Overall just a great experience which was definitely worth the price.
If you’re looking for a quick trip around the lake to see everything, this isn’t for you. If you want to enjoy the lake and escape the crowd for a chill 2 hours of relaxing boating seeing a few sites, swim in the lake for a few minutes this is perfect! Paolo was an amazing, charming host with a lot of enthusiasm and knowledge of the lake and the history of the area. Soak in the sun, swim in the water with a few apertivos… we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. When we come back to Lake Como, we will definitely be revisiting Paulo and his catamaran! It was a fantastic afternoon.

We had a wonderful time on the boat. It was not overcrowded, and it was possible to sit separately from the other guests if desired. Our guide was very professional and communicative. We would gladly go on another tour with him.
Our guides, Paulo and Omar, were great! They showed us parts of Lake Como we didn’t know about and told us stories of growing up on the lake. The catamaran is beautiful, and the trip was comfortable, and we were served delicious and inventive appetizers and drinks. It was a wonderful morning on the lake!
Relaxed, scenic, beautiful, this was such a pleasant experience, Paolo and Omar were very nice, you can easily see they both love sailing and really enjoy their job. They were attentive but allowed us to enjoy the scenery and encouraged us to ask questions if we had any. We were provided with some snacks and a glass of Prosecco which were very much appreciated. Communication was good beforehand via WhatsApp. Omar was keen to ensure we got some nice photos to capture the memories and was helpful in taking some snaps. Faultless trip.

We had a wonderful day thanks to Paolo and his catamaran. We started from Limonta and then passed by Bellagio and Varenna, I have always seen these villages from the mainland but I must say that seeing them from the lake is a beautiful new perspective, seeing Varenna from the lake reminds the landscape of the Cinque Terre. The weather was great and we could eat something on the boat, Paolo was very helpful to give us all the explanations about the territory and the catamaran. Experience recommended!
I participated with a group of friends in a catamaran excursion on Lake Como. It was a wonderful experience, super recommended if you want to discover the lake from a different point of view. Paolo was a great skipper, he was able to put us at ease and told us many beautiful things!
Last Saturday I joined this lake tour and it completely exceeded my expectations. Even though I’ve been living on Lake Como for 30 years, I had never experienced it from this angle before. Most boat tours around here tend to be private and quite pricey, so this felt like a rare and wonderful opportunity. Paolo, our catamaran captain, met us right at the pier in Varenna — such a convenient and central meeting point. Once on board Maru, we sailed past breathtaking spots including Bellagio and Villa La Gaeta, along with many other stunning locations.
