Wir bieten eine einzigartige Möglichkeit, das Metropolitan Museum durch sorgfältig kuratierte, thematische und interaktive Führungen zu erkunden. Wir beinhalten Diskussionen, Aktivitäten und Handreichungen, um ein unverwechselbares Erlebnis zu schaffen. Die Tourgänger werden Kunstwerke aus aller Welt und aus vielen Kulturen erkunden, Verbindungen zwischen ihnen betrachten und ihren Bezug zum Thema erforschen. Vom Gruseligen zum Gruseligen, vom Makabren zum Mysteriösen, vom Gespenstischen zum Ghuldigen – die interaktiven „Ghost Stories“ nehmen die Besucher mit auf eine Tour durch schreckliche Dinge im Metropolitan Museum. Die Teilnehmer reisen quer durch Kulturen und Zeit, um Fliegende Holländer und Totenmasken, Stillleben und Skulpturen zu sehen. Wir schauen uns ägyptische, amerikanische und europäische Kunstwerke an, um nur einige zu nennen, und machen eine unterhaltsame Aktivität. In der Zwischenzeit werden wir uns ansehen, wie verschiedene Kulturen das Furchterregende und das Grausame darstellen, um dem nachzugehen, was uns Angst macht... und warum. Diese Tour wird für Kinder ab 10 Jahren empfohlen.

We went on this tour for our work Halloween party, and it was so much fun! Evan was so knowledgeable, and it was so interesting thinking about art in a different way. We went to parts of the Met that I didn't even know existed. Such a unique experience, highly recommend!!!!

My wife and I met with our tour guide Evie /Evan right on time and she made the tour fun and informative. Luckily we were the only individuals that showed up do due the others having to cancel. She was great with the information and was able to answer all of our questions. We would definitely do another tour with her.

The whole family (two parents and kids 15,12 and 12) totally enjoyed the tour. Our tour guide (the owner of the company) gave such a great tour and kept everyone engaged. We all really loved it and learned so much. It was a great way to go through parts of an overwhelmingly large and beautiful museum with a mixed group of ages and attention spans. The group was small (6 of us total) and I believe she limits it to 12 tops, so you have the opportunity to ask questions. She has years of previous experience working for the met and knows so much about the art there. This tour was not scary at all. My 12 year old said he wanted to do another tour with her tomorrow!

Evie was awesome! She is very entertaining and knows a lot about the museum. She worked there a long time and gave us great tips as to what to look at after the tour. What was great was how she pointed out pieces that we may have never looked at twice before and now we had a story that went with it.

I had a great time seeing a totally different side of the Met. It was spooky fun, but never scary. I would recommend this to people interested in the macabre or alternative tours of popular sites.
