- Am 19. und 20. September nimmt die Abtei Mont Saint Michel an den Tagen des Europäischen Kulturerbes teil. Während dieser beiden Tage ist der Eintritt in die Abtei kostenlos und die Besichtigungen werden selbst geführt.

Perfect day! Our guide was great! She helped us navigate Mount St Michel and provided excellent information for everything we saw. The private transportation part of the booking was a bit confusing. Apparently it only includes transport to the bus pick up and not return transport. Our guide was wonderful with assistance regarding the return back to our hotel.

This tour is NOT a guided tour, this is mostly a bus transportation to Mount Saint Michel tour On top of that The tour guide and the driver were both very rude, and lack communication. Once you get to the site you are on your own.

Our guide was excellent although the hotel pick up was probably not worth the extra $, Uber would have been sufficient, and the checkin table was a bit chaotic

There is a tremendous amount of uphill stairs and cobblestone pathway walking. You don't need a ticket to get into the first half of the town and Abby. You only need your ticket when you get up to the higher level. The actual main part of the Abby is also a tremendous amount of walking uphill. some stairs and some cobblestone pathway through it. there are lots of places to eat in the lower part of the "town" on the lower part of the mountain. there are shops to buy mementos. the walkways are very narrow and the buildings are right there at you every step. Only a couple widened areas. if claustrophobic or afraid of heights, this may not be for you. Our guide was nice. he was also informative. He was difficult to understand part of the time. the bus was comfortable and clean. in good condition. The drive is long and it's a double decker bus that took us. So most people will be upstairs. It was worth the drive and so fascinating to see this fairy tale massive place. We loved every minute. There is some walking from the bus to the shuttle area. The shuttle area takes you to the base of the mountain. Then there is walking to get across to the entrance to the buildings of the town. only a small amount is flat once you enter town. The rest is all uphill.

It was a fun trip... LONG but fun. The bus ride was 4 hours each way and about 3 hours there. Our tour guide was nice, fun, and informative. The bus was pleasant but the space between seats was a bit tight. The price seemed a bit high for what you got. definitely look for a coupon
Very long trip but totally worth it! Definitely get the guided tour. The motor coach was very comfortable and guide knowledgeable.
Climbing to the top, the abbey, the little town atmosphere, history. The ride from Paris was long, about five hours, but was worth it.
