Geführte Wanderung durch die Alhambra in Granada

An industrial tourist factory without any humanity. Extremely disappointing visit. The Alhambra has become a cash machine that manages visitor flows in a totally industrial way, to the detriment of hospitality and common sense. Arriving early, we tried to get information, but we ran into staff overwhelmed by the crowd and unable to provide clear information. We passed the first checkpoint 10 minutes before our time. The ticket agent scanned our tickets without a word, without even alerting us that we had to run immediately to the Nasrid Palaces because the site is huge. Thinking we were on time, we walked around the gardens and missed our time slot without knowing it. At the entrance to the palace, the axe fell: access denied in a robotic manner. No listening, no exceptions possible for people in good faith who were trapped by illegible jargon in the HTML file received by email. The staff enforces strict instructions without any empathy. It is a shame for a site of this scale to treat visitors like simple numbers on a conveyor belt.

Although we arrived on time at the entrance, we were unable to visit the Nasrid Palaces due to nonexistent and, in any case, insufficient signage. At the entrance, they don't even give you a map of the place, and the signs along the route are scarce and confusing, so much so that we entered the Palace of Charles V thinking we were in the Nasrid Palace. When we realized that we had not visited the Nasrid Palace, it was no longer possible to do so because our allotted time had ended. The staff at the entrance, even though we explained the inconvenience at length, refused to let us in. Added to this is the fact that it was not possible to visit the Alcazaba, which was closed after the earthquake without this being specified on the website. Even the church was inaccessible due to a religious ceremony taking place. In conclusion, despite purchasing the full ticket, we were only able to visit the Palace of Charles V and the garden. A scam.

It is spectacular how clean and well-maintained the Alhambra is. It is a huge site and almost impossible to see it all well in a single day. The views are impressive, especially of Granada and the entire Alhambra. As an improvement, it would be good to have more restroom and picnic areas to be able to rest during the visit. Without a doubt, a place to return to and finish discovering everything we couldn't see. A totally recommended visit!

Disappointment. DIY tour, terrible organization, there are no signs, path without directions. Some attractions closed, some with specific times that no one told us about, and they did not let us in. Many gardens and few things to visit. I do not recommend visiting.

I must say that the visit was excellent. I never thought I would come across such a beautiful culture, combined in every aspect !!!

We went to the alhambra this month and were offered a private tour. We were reluctant at first given the additional cost. We were so glad we did. The alhambra is a complex experience for the first time visitor. We decided to hire an official guide and found that Yoshi Simon Doherty was the very best. He is extremely knowledgeable and gives an astounding presentation. The alhambra experience requires interpretation. Without it a naive visitor misses so much. This tour was well worth the cost. Ask for Yoshi Simon Doherty!

The palace is wonderfull with great historical background. Its worth to visit the place and local guides are excellent. You will learn the historical basics of creation of Spain.
