Gobustan ist ein faszinierendes Staatsreservat, das etwa 64 km vom Zentrum von Baku entfernt liegt. Der Ort gehört zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe. Sie besuchen hier das Gobustan 3D Interactive Museum und das Gobustan Outdoor Museum (Petroglyphen).
Aserbaidschan hat die meisten Schlammvulkane aller Länder, die weit über das ganze Land verteilt sind. 350 der 700 Vulkane der Welt liegen in der Aserbaidschanischen Republik.
Im Jahr 1846 wurde unter der Aufsicht des Staatsberaters V.N. Semyonov, ein Ingenieur Alekseev, bohrte in Bibiheybət mit einem primitiven Schlagbohrmechanismus ein 21 m tiefes Bohrloch, um nach Öl zu suchen, mit positiven Ergebnissen. Mehr als ein Jahrzehnt später, am 27. August 1859, stieß „Colonel“ Edwin L. Drake zum ersten Mal auf amerikanischem Boden auf Öl.
Der Ateshgah von Baku, oft auch „Feuertempel von Baku“ genannt, ist ein burgähnlicher religiöser Tempel in der Stadt Surakhany, einem Vorort von Baku, Aserbaidschan. Basierend auf persischen und indischen Inschriften wurde der Tempel als Hindu-, Sikh- und Zoroastrier-Kultstätte genutzt.
Yanardagh (Brennender Berg) ist ein Erdgasfeuer, das ununterbrochen auf einem Hügel auf der Absheron-Halbinsel am Kaspischen Meer in der Nähe von Baku, der Hauptstadt Aserbaidschans (einem Land, das selbst als „Land des Feuers“ bekannt ist), lodert.

We visited Baku from June 6th to 9th, Said did a great job. We are very happy with the airport pick up and drop off service and one day Baku suburb tour which included the Mud volcano， Gobustan rock paiting, Fire temple and Yanardag. The van was in a good condition, the driver and guide were very professional and the cost was reasonable. People enjoyed the time in Baku, really reliable tour company. We would definitely recommend the service!

We spend 8 days in Azerbaijan, our driver & tour guide was Ilqar-Viano from Absheron Travel Agency. He showed us his country: Gabala & Shaki region, Guba region and Gibustan, Absheron & Mud volcanos. We had a tour in Baku as well. His English & Russian is perfect, so we do not had problem with communication. He showed us good restaurants in mamy places. It was a 7 nights package tour of Azerbaijan arranged by Mr. Said Seyidov of Absheron covering Baku, Qabala, Tufandag, Sheki, Quba, Shadag, Gobustan. Itenary was well planned to cover all the places at leisure. Fantastic Hotels with good car and nice driver Mr. Ilqar. Overall experience was five star without any negative to even think about. I whole heartedly recommend Absheron for a very good package tour at a very competitve cost.
Visiting Baku was an incredible experience, but what also made it unforgettable was Sayed- an amazing travel host and guide. He made every location and food we had with him come alive with fascinating details and stories. His warmth, friendlies and knowledge made the whole experience very comfortable. We just completed a week long trip in Azerbaijan which includes travel to various places. Started from Baku city tour of all the famous sightseeing spots then went to Qechresh forest, Afurdzhi Waterfalls (Mastidargah) then we stayed in Quba for two nights. We went to Qusar and further up to Shahdag mountain resort where we enjoyed different activities. They took us to Chanlibel lake and then we back to Baku. Next morning we started our tour to Gabala where we had one night stay and went up to Tufandag mountain resort where we enjoyed cable car and other activities. They took us to Nohur lake. Each and everything was perfectly organized as per the given plan and there were no surprises for us.
