Wie kann man dies in den Kontext der aktuellen Unabhängigkeitsbewegung stellen? Während dieses zweistündigen Spaziergangs stellen wir die Verbindung zwischen mittelalterlicher, katalanischer Geschichte und Legenden her und dem, was Gaudí und andere Architekten bei der Planung der Gebäude entlang des grandiosen Boulevards Passeig de Gracia inspiriert hat. Vom Straßenpflaster bis hin zu Laternenpfähle - alle haben eine Geschichte, die wir Dir erzählen wollen! Wenn Du Geschichte liebst, die von leidenschaftlichen Erzählern zum Leben erweckt wird, und den persönlichen Charakter einer kleinen Gruppe genießen möchtest, dann ist diese Erfahrung für Dich. Casa Morera ist ein atemberaubendes Beispiel modernistischer Handwerkskunst, entworfen von Lluís Domènech I Montaner. Hinter der unzähligen Blumendekoration verbirgt sich ein höchst überraschendes Detail!
Wir kommen an der Plaça Catalunya vorbei, die die Neustadt Eixample mit der Altstadt verbindet.
Wir werden das modernistische Künstler-Café sehen, das für Barcelona genauso wichtig war wie die Cafés in Paris. Picasso kam hierher, ebenso wie Gaudí.
Der berühmte Konzertsaal ist ein Juwel modernistischer Architektur. Wir erklären Dir die prächtige Außenfassade mit ihren vielen Details und werfen auch einen Blick in die wunderschöne Lobby.

Michael was our very professional and respectful guide. We started in front of La Pedrera. There, and at every building we visited, he told us very interesting stories, both architectural and historical, with colorful commentary illustrating the anecdotes behind each building, popular streets, and even lampposts. It was a very unique tour to meet Barcelona's most famous architects, beyond the master Gaudí. The two hours flew by without us even noticing, despite the heat. He was a pleasure to work with.

This was a wonderful walking tour! Christian had many interesting stories, insights, and tidbits about the architecture and architects as well the culture of Barcelona. He kept a great pace, and our family (including two teens) found it very interesting and a great use of time in the city.

Excellent walking tour with Michael as our guide. We were able to learn more about the history of Barcelona, Gaudí and other architects that designed interesting buildings. Michael kept us involved in the tour by asking us questions about what we saw in buildings. Our tour was casual, like walking with a friend. Definitely would recommend.

We loved the Gaudi tour with Christian. He is a fantastic story teller, with good pace and just the right balance of smaller details and larger themes. Definitely recommend this if you want to learn more about the beautiful architecture of this city.

We had an amazing experience walking around Barcelona admiring the beautiful architecture of Barcelona, the rich history of Barcelona and learning about the stories of the architects and how they created these masterpieces.
