Wir verlassen die Stadt Salta in Richtung Norden auf der Nationalstraße 9 und passieren die Außenbezirke von San Salvador de Jujuy, um in die Quebrada de Humahuaca, das Kultur- und Naturerbe der Menschheit, einzudringen. Die erste Stadt, die wir besuchen werden, ist Purmamarca, eine typische Stadt mit einem bunten Jahrmarkt auf dem zentralen Platz, Lehmhäusern, der Kirche Sta Rosa de Lima und dem spektakulären Cerro de los Siete Colores. Die nächste Stadt, die wir besuchen, ist Maimará, wo wir die Farben der Malerpalette bewundern können. In Tilcara machen wir eine Stadtrundfahrt und in Huacalera sehen wir den Monolithen mit der Legende Wendekreis des Steinbocks und seinem Symbol. In Humahuaca essen wir zu Mittag und Sie können das Denkmal für die Inka, Helden der Unabhängigkeit, bewundern. Zum Abschluss besuchen wir die Serranía del Hornocal (Hügel der 14 Farben), wo „Mein Meisterwerk“ gedreht wurde. Es ist das Ende der Kreidezeit, als vor 75 Millionen Jahren die letzten Dinosaurier lebten.

Wir verlassen unser Büro um 6:30 Uhr und fahren in Richtung Nationalstraße 9, vorbei an Jujuy, bis wir die Humahuaca-Schlucht erreichen.
Wir halten in Purmamarca an, um ein Panoramafoto zu machen, und Sie haben 30 Minuten Zeit, um die Stadt zu erkunden.

Great experience visiting Humahuaca and Hornocal. The guide was David, who with his sense of humor contributed a lot to make the tour even better.
That's exactly how I would describe this company. Hornocal gave us 15-20 minutes to visit the peak with 14 flowers, not counting the lines for photos. That was barely enough time to take photos. Instead, they repeatedly persuade you, over and over again, to go to a strange market where they sell all sorts of rags as souvenirs. It's sad.
We hired an agency that referred us to take the Humahuaca tour with Hornocal through this agency. Honestly, we had a fantastic time! In the morning, they picked us up on time and offered us coffee while we waited to depart. Our driver was Charly and the guide was Maria. We had a really great time, we explored everything, and we were lucky to follow the itinerary and see everything planned. The time was sufficient to visit, eat, shop, and take photos. All the recommendations were helpful, they assisted us with the altitude and everything!! Geniuses! Additionally, guide Maria shared super interesting facts along the way and was always friendly and open to questions. Charly drives very well! We hardly felt the curves of the road and the altitude, which is staggering for someone from Córdoba! We recommend them!! Thank you for making us have a dream day. We will return, and without a doubt, next time we will hire directly with Parada Norte!
