Der Pailón del Diablo ist einer der beeindruckendsten Wasserfälle des Landes. Die Kraft des Wassers, die tiefe Schlucht und die Hängebrücken ermöglichen es den Reisenden, die pure Energie der Ausläufer des Amazonas hautnah zu spüren. Das Baumhaus, auch bekannt als die „Schaukel am Ende der Welt“, bietet einen atemberaubenden Panoramablick auf den Vulkan Tungurahua und die umliegende Andenkette. Erster Halt: Agoyán-Wasserfall (7 km – ca. 15 Min.) Auf dieser Route sehen Sie den Agoyán-Staudamm, den Agoyán-Wasserfall, den Culebrilla-Wasserfall und den La-Esperanza-Wasserfall. Sie werden durch Tunnel mit Wasserfällen wandern. Zweiter Halt: Pastaza-Flusstunnel und Aussichtspunkt (weitere 2 km) Wir folgen der alten Straße, die vor dem Bau der Tunnel existierte; heute ist sie ein Radweg.
Wir kamen in Rio Blanco an, wo Sie verschiedene Abenteueraktivitäten finden, wie zum Beispiel: die Glasbrücke, die Tibetische Brücke, den Sprung von der Brücke, die Seilrutsche und Völkerball (diese Aktivitäten sind optional; die Preise variieren je nach Aktivität zwischen 10 und 25 US-Dollar; Barzahlung wird bevorzugt). Dritter Halt: Wasserfall Manto de la Novia (15 km von Baños entfernt). Seilbahn nach Manto de la Novia, mit der Möglichkeit, entweder mit der Seilbahn (Korbbahn) zu fahren oder zum Aussichtspunkt zu Fuß zu gehen (Preis für die Seilbahn: 2 US-Dollar; Barzahlung bevorzugt).
Wir setzen unsere Reise zur Insel Pailón del Diablo fort. Vierter Halt: Wasserfall Pailón del Diablo (17 km von Baños entfernt). Bei Ihrer Ankunft in Rio Verde finden Sie mehrere Parkmöglichkeiten für Ihr Fahrzeug; die Eintrittsgebühr beträgt 1 US-Dollar. Am Eingang zum Wasserfall Pailón del Diablo finden Sie zwei Möglichkeiten: den langen Weg, der eine Stunde für Hin- und Rückweg zum Wasserfall benötigt, oder den kurzen Weg, der 30 Minuten dauert. Der lange Pfad ermöglicht es Ihnen, den Wasserfall von oben zu sehen. Der Eintrittspreis für Pailón del Diablo beträgt 3 US-Dollar für den Tageseintritt und 3 US-Dollar für den Nachteintritt zu Pailón Nocturno. Das lange Ticket kostet 5 US-Dollar und das kurze Ticket kostet 4 US-Dollar.
Malerische Auffahrt über die Runtún-Route (ca. 0–8 km) Die Route, die Sie in Richtung La Casa del Árbol in Baños, Ecuador, nehmen werden, führt zu einem Aussichtspunkt, der spektakuläre Ausblicke auf den imposanten Vulkan Tungurahua bietet. Von hier aus kann man die Majestät des Vulkans Tungurahua bewundern.

I visited Baños with my family and we did a private tour with Michell's agency, who was very kind and greeted us with a nice smile. The route of the waterfalls and the Devil's Pailon was the most beautiful tour, I loved it and Mishelll gave us time and the freedom to have a drink afterwards, we went to the tree house. The weather didn't help us much but the whole tour was spectacular. We booked rafting and a full day in the jungle with the agency and everything was very well organized. I definitely recommend this agency.

Spent a few hours with Mishell as she took me through the Waterfalls Trail on a 4x4 vehicle on a private tour. She organized this tour for me on short notice and arrived promptly and was great company for a solo traveler. Id recommend other solo travelers who don’t want to bike the route to check out this experience.
