S. Asad Awan was a great tour guide. He allowed us to skip things that we weren’t interested and spend our time doing things we enjoyed. Would recommend!
<p>We had the same experience as the other reviewer in that we were the only two in the van. While the tour covered the listed places, customers should know that this is not a guided tour but is merely transportation to the sites. The driver was very nice and accommodating but not a tour guide -- he had to stay with the van after dropping us off in various places. The ride on an abra across Dubai Creek was merely a 2-minute ride to cross the creek to the other side where the van was parked. Overall, we were quite disappointed. You can go to the same places at a much less expensive rate on a Hop-on Hop-off bus or even a private car, we're told. Viator and its local affiliate Daytur Dubai were not willing to provide a partial refund.</p>
<p>We were fortunate that we were the only two on the tour which allowed for a more personal service. It enabled us to spend less time at the gold and spice souks as had been there the day before and more time seeing other sights. Whilst there is a lot to see in Dubai we felt this tour provided a good overall view of the main sights with time to stop for photos. The car was clean and the driver very pleasant and punctual for pick-up although at times a little hard to understand. The buffet lunch provided was excellent. Enjoyed the day and would be happy to recommend.</p>
