Eine ganztägige Titicacasee-Tour zu den Uros- und Taquile-Inseln ist eine beliebte und beste Möglichkeit, das Leben auf diesen abgelegenen Inseln zu erleben. Mit 3812 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel (12506 Fuß) gilt der Titicaca-See als der höchstgelegene schiffbare See der Welt. Der Titicaca-See liegt an der Grenze zwischen Peru und Bolivien. Ein großer Teil des Sees gehört zu Peru. Es ist die Heimat vieler verschiedener abgelegener Inseln, auf denen Fischerei und Landwirtschaft die Haupteinnahmequellen sind. Die schwimmenden Inseln Uros, Taquile und Amantani sind die bekanntesten und für den Tourismus geöffnet. Auf dieser ganztägigen Tour besuchen Sie die schwimmenden Inseln Uros und Taquile Island mit unserem lokalen zweisprachigen (Englisch und Spanisch) Reiseexperten. Sie erhalten einen Einblick in das Leben der Einheimischen hier und wie sie ihren Alltag mit minimalen Ressourcen aufrechterhalten. Die Einheimischen hier sind von der Moderne unberührt und pflegen ihre uralten Traditionen und Bräuche. Sie sprechen immer noch in Aymara und Quechua.

Ihre epische Tour beginnt mit einem Transfer zum Bootsanleger, wo Sie eine 25-minütige Bootsfahrt unternehmen, um das Leben auf den schwimmenden Inseln der Uros zu sehen. Wenn Sie lossegeln, haben Sie in der Ferne einen unverfälschten Blick auf die schneebedeckten Andengipfel. Wenn wir die Küste der Uros-Inseln erreichen, werden die Einheimischen Sie herzlich willkommen heißen und Sie in ihr Leben auf dieser künstlichen Insel einführen. Die Leute hier sprechen Aymara, unser Reiseleiter wird Ihnen ein paar Wörter beibringen, damit Sie sie in ihrer Sprache begrüßen können. Der Leiter der Gemeinde wird demonstrieren, wie sie diese Inseln bauen, und wird die Geschichte davon erzählen. Auf Wunsch können Sie hier einige Souvenirs kaufen. Die Einheimischen bieten dann eine kurze Fahrt mit ihrem Totora-Schilfboot zur Hauptinsel Uros an (dies kostet zusätzlich 10 Soles). Sie haben etwas Freizeit zum Bummeln, die Insel besteht auch aus Totora-Schilf. Sobald Sie genug von der Geschichte und den Aussichten haben, begeben wir uns auf eine 2-stündige Reise nach Taquile.
Da sich das Boot der Küste der Insel Taquile nähert, gibt Ihnen unser lokaler Experte eine kurze Information über das Leben der Einheimischen hier. Es ist fast 45 Minuten zu Fuß den Hügel hinauf zum Gipfel, von wo aus Sie die Aussicht genießen können. Taquile ist die Heimat des besten Kunsthandwerks der Anden. Hier stricken die Männer, während die Frauen die Wolle spinnen. Die Leute hier kleiden sich nach ihrem Familienstand. Unser Guide erklärt Ihnen dies ausführlich. Ein Dorfvorsteher zeigt Ihnen, wie die Wolle mit Gemüse gefärbt wird. Nach einer kurzen Einführung halten wir zum Mittagessen in einem lokalen Restaurant. Nach dem Mittagessen wandern wir zurück zum Pier und besteigen unser Boot für eine Rückfahrt nach Puno. Die Strecke von 36 Kilometern (22 Meilen) wird in etwa zweieinhalb Stunden zurückgelegt. Wir werden Puno um 17:00 Uhr erreichen. Unser Vertreter wird Sie treffen und Sie zurück zu Ihrem Hotel im Stadtzentrum bringen.

A perfect day trip from Puno! One of the guides, Julio, personally picked me up from my hotel and took me to the shuttle bus, which was a great start to the day. I was then placed in Fausto's group, and he was an outstanding guide. His English was excellent, and he was incredibly knowledgeable about the local history and cultures. Pablo was another standout guide who gave entertaining and informative commentary during the boat cruise, making the journey even more enjoyable. Visiting the local families on Uros was a truly special experience, and lunch on Taquile Island was exceptional. We enjoyed delicious quinoa soup followed by fresh trout with Peruvian potatoes, and there was also a vegetarian option available. The transport was comfortable, the entire day was well organized, and it offered fantastic value for money. A must-do experience when visiting Puno!

We did the full day tour with guide Ruben and it was very unique experience. Nancy picked us up from the hotel on the day of the tour and she was very kind and helpful. They also stored our bags while we were on the tour. Taquile island involved a bit of hike but it was very well organised with regular stops. The views were out worldly and the lunch was very delicous. Highly recommend the tour and Discover Lake Titicaca. A big plus if you get Ruben as your guide.

The full day Lake Titicaca tour was an excellent experience. Visiting the Uros Flaoting islands and Taquile Island was fascinating,and the scenery on the lake was stunning. We opted for this full day trip before travelling to Bolivia and we are very happy with everything. The communication, guide, transfers everything was efficient. The guide was very knowledgable. I specially enjoyed the secoond island we visited as it had lot of cultural value and the views were very nice.

This was a perfect day trip from Puno, the pickup was very well cordinated and the guide was very knowledgable and passionate to share information about the local traditions and customs. Lunch was served in Taquile island in a local family restaurant overlooking the valley. Highly reccomend.

Did this full day Lake Titicaca tour and it was perfectly organized, it included visits to two different islands and our guide, fausto was very passionate in sharing his knowledge about the places and culture. Despite the disrupted weather in the morning, everything was great. We had a private tour of the two islands. The sun appeared in a magnificent setting... Two completely different islands... but authentic... Stunning landscapes!

A very friendly guide and professional staff. Everything was perfect from start to end with no unpleasant surprises. The tour included visits to two different islands and locals were welcoming and explained about their traditions and customs. The floating islands was a little touristic but quite different in a pleasant way.
