9 Uhr Abholung vom Hotel / Flughafen / Bahnhof in Jodhpur und Genuss der Jodhpur-Sightseeing-Tour.
Zuerst besuchen wir das Mehrangarh Fort, das sich auf einem 150 m hohen Hügel befindet und 1459 von Rao Jodha gegründet wurde. Innerhalb seiner Grenzen befinden sich mehrere Paläste, die für ihre wunderschönen Schnitzereien und weitläufigen Innenhöfe bekannt sind. Sieben Tore müssen überquert werden, um das Fort zu erreichen. Die Tore tragen noch immer die Spuren der verschiedenen Schlachten, die in der vergangenen Ära ausgetragen wurden.
11:00 Uhr In der Nähe des Fortkomplexes liegt Jaswant Thada, dieser königliche Kenotaph aus dem 19. Jahrhundert aus weißem Marmor zum Gedenken an Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Und drei weitere Kenotaphs stehen in der Nähe.
Optional (direkt bezahlen) Wir besuchen den Umaid Bhawan Palace, die Heimat der ehemaligen königlichen Familie Jodhpur und derzeit die sechstgrößte private Residenz der Welt in Jodhpur. Ein Teil des Palastes beherbergt ein gut gepflegtes Museum, in dem eine erstaunliche Auswahl an Gegenständen des Maharadschas und der königlichen Familie ausgestellt ist - Waffen, Antiquitäten und faszinierende Uhren, Geschirr und Trophäen. Das Anwesen beherbergt ein Familienmuseum sowie den prächtigen Umaid Bhawan Palace und das Set inmitten eines 26 Hektar großen üppigen Gartens mit tanzenden Pfauen und einem unterirdischen Zodiac Pool.
Am Nachmittag besuchen wir den Glockenturm und den Sadar-Markt. In der Altstadt ist der Glockenturm ein markantes Wahrzeichen. Die Hauptattraktion ist jedoch der Sadar-Markt. Der Markt hat die alte Haat-Basarkultur am Leben erhalten.
Das abendliche Einkaufen in Jodhpur ist ein ausgezeichneter Ort zum Einkaufen, und dort finden Sie eine verlockende Auswahl an Waren. Einige der beliebtesten Gegenstände sind Edelsteine, Silberschmuck, Armreifen, Kleidung und Textilien usw.

We enjoyed this tour of Jodhpur. Sandeep our tour guide arrived exactly on time at our hotel for pickup. The car was very comfortable. Sandeep explained all the details of the sights very well along with all the historical facts. He also got the tickets of each monument thus saving us time standing in lines. His knowledge was quite impressive. Lunch was included in the tour and was great! All in all a very nice experience and I would highly recommend this tour.

Sandeep was a great guide in the fascinating city of Jodhpur. Enjoyed seeing places and markets and learning about the history of the city over the centuries. Lunch was at a nice authentic restaurant.

It has been a nice holiday trip with family to the heritage town Jodhpur. We visited many historical places. Mr Sandeep was a wonderful guide. He was able to add value to these visits by letting us know about the interesting history associated in detail.

Favorite part of the visit was Mehrangarh fort. Enjoyed various artifacts in the fort. Mr Sandeep, guide, was very knowledgeable and took extremely good care of us. Very good hospitality. Infact, all people of jodhpur are like this. Will love to visit again

We had book a 1 day private tour with Mike Lobo taking us up to the fort Jodphur Fort, then on to Jaswand Tada ( the precious little Taj Mahal of Jodphur ), had lunch in the new town and went on to walk around the local market area. Mike is an extraordinary person who exceeded all of our expectations. We had many questions bout culture, country and the local area and he was elaborate and entertaining in answering all of our curiosity. His English is excellent, he has a dark, pleasant, narrating voice with a slightly British accent and a wealth of historic facts which he readily shared with us along the way. The tuck-tucks and car we used along the way were perfectly orchestrated (even though there were traffic problems which kept the originally booked car to arrive on time). We wanted to shop for some high quality spices and scents and he pointed us to Maharani Spices new the clock tower where Naveen Bandhari was not only an entertaining owner and an expert of his craft in teas, herbs and oils. We continued to stroll the pulsating market and purchased small items here and there where again Mike helped us to negotiate with the locals and even helped with cash when we only had large bills. In total, Mike is the insightful, forthcoming and an idea companion for your travels - I can highly recommend his services to you.
