Ihre ganztägige Tour beginnt mit einer Abholung um 8 Uhr morgens von Ihrem Hotel oder dem Bahnhof Agra Cantt (AGC). Treffen Sie Ihren Guide und steigen Sie in Ihr privates AC Toyota-Auto.
Zuerst besuchen wir das prächtige Taj Mahal (freitags geschlossen), ein UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe, eines der sieben Weltwunder und sicherlich der extravaganteste Ausdruck von Liebe, der jemals geschaffen wurde. Über 17 Jahre lang arbeiteten 20.000 Männer, um dieses Denkmal für Shah Jahans geliebte Frau zu errichten. Es ist eine Fülle von weißem Marmor und Halbedelstein - «zweifellos der Höhepunkt der Tour».
Anschließend besuchen Sie das imposante Fort Agra, das zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe gehört. Diese riesige Festung wurde 1565 von Kaiser Akbar erbaut und besteht aus rotem Sandstein. Die eleganten Gebäude im Inneren spiegeln eine interessante Synthese hinduistischer und zentralasiatischer Architekturstile wider. Das Labyrinth der Innenhöfe, Moscheen und privaten Kammern der Festung spiegelt die Geschichte des Mogulreichs wider.
Um 14:30 Uhr nach dem Mittagessen beginnen wir die einstündige Fahrt nach Fatehpur Sikri, das ebenfalls zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe gehört. Es wurde von Akbar im späten 16. Jahrhundert erbaut und nach nur 14 Jahren aufgegeben. Die eleganten Gebäude dieser prächtigen Stadtmauer sind bis heute erhalten.
Nehmen Sie sich am frühen Abend etwas Zeit, um in Agra einzukaufen, das für seine fabelhaften Handarbeiten aus Marmor und weichen Steineinlagen bekannt ist. Die Moguln waren große Förderer des Kunsthandwerks. Kaiserin Nur Jahan interessierte sich persönlich und war selbst eine versierte Künstlerin in der Zari-Stickerei. Neben den Einlegearbeiten sind die wichtigsten handwerklichen Produkte von Agra Lederwaren, Messingwaren, Teppiche, Schmuck und Stickereien.
Nach der Besichtigung fahren wir gegen 18 Uhr zum Bahnhof Agra Cantt (AGC) oder zurück zu Ihrem Hotel in Agra.

Had an excellent experience on my recent full-day tour of Agra with tour guide Mr. Rajni Kant and driver Mr. Sonu. The day began well with on-time hotel pickup for the Taj Mahal sunrise tour. The itinerary for the day was well-planned with flexibility to spend more time at each site such as the Agra Fort and "Baby Taj." Rajni provided a complete history of each location and the best views for photos throughout the day. The lunch provided was a delicious buffet with abundant Indian favorites and courteous service. If local shopping or services are of interest, Rajni will guide you in the right direction. If safe travels are a concern, Mr. Sonu's driving and navigational skills will smoothly transition you throughout the city even in heavy traffic. You will be well-served by this team.

Don’t hesitate! This is an amazing and super organized tour. Our driver Ravi picked us up at airport and took us to Agra where we met our amazing guide Rajesh took us to see the Taj Mahal. He’s very knowledgeable and a great photographer as well. We had tradicional Indian lunch followed by some shopping. It’s a very long day but worth every second! We also used Nikita Holidays for our transportation in Mumbai and city Tour. Raj Sharma, the CEO made everything go smoothly. Super recommended!

I am so happy I booked my once in a lifetime tour of the Taj Mahal and environs with this company. Our guide Mahesh was super! He went out of his way to find me a gold 3D charm of the Taj Mahal. He did this by making several phone calls and going to 3 shops. He was also very attentive to all of our needs concerning the heat (113°). Our driver Prem was great as well. We enjoyed our two days with them immensely. My husband and I joked that they treated us better than our own family! Raj the manager kept texting me throughout our two days to make sure the service was superior. Thank you for making our once in a lifetime experience extra memorable.
