Sie werden gegen 07:00 Uhr von Ihrem Hotel in Medan abgeholt und beginnen Ihre Fahrt entlang der faszinierenden Route durch den Dschungel zum Bergdorf Brastagi im Karo-Hochland. Diese Fahrt dauert etwa 2 Stunden mit dem Auto. Erster Halt ist Berastagi Obstmarkt. Brastagi verfügt über vulkanischen, fruchtbaren Boden, der sich ideal für den Anbau von Früchten wie Passionsfrucht, Mangistan, Solanum Betaceum, Orangen und einer Vielzahl von Blumen eignet.
Eine Nachbildung der in Myanmar befindlichen Shwedagon-Pagode existiert bereits in Indonesien in Form einer Nachbildung der Pagode im Naturpark Lumbini. Dieser Lumbini-Park wurde zum ersten Mal 2007 bis 2010 gebaut. Er erreicht 46,8 Meter Höhe, 68 Meter Länge, Äther und 68 Meter Breite. Im Lumbini Park befindet sich auch die höchste Pagode Indonesiens und auch die zweithöchste in Südostasien. Auf einer Fläche von ca. 3 Hektar, die aus einem Garten besteht und es auch diese Pagode gibt.
Von diesem Ort aus können Sie auch den Blick auf den Toba-See sehen. Halten Sie Ihre Momente auf diesem Wasserfall fest. Der Sipiso-piso ist ein Wasserfall im Batak-Hochland von Sumatra, Indonesien. Es wird von einem kleinen unterirdischen Fluss des Karo-Plateaus gebildet, der aus einer Höhle in der Caldera des Toba-Sees etwa 120 Meter in die Tiefe des Sees fällt.
Als nächstes fahren wir zum traditionellen Haus im Batak Karo Land. von Dokan, wo noch Menschen leben. In diesen traditionellen Häusern namens Djambur bewohnen 8 Familien ein Haus. Unterhalb des Hauses leben Rinder, Schweine und Wasserbüffel. Sie können ein Haus besuchen und ihre Lebensweise sehen.

every time i come in planning to try something new i end up getting the mango ice cream. it's that good. fresh, bright, not too sweet. the stone mixing folds in whatever you add without making a mess of it
We shared a meal with friends on the occasion of a birthday.This place is cozy, cozy and exudes comfort. The menu is succinct a fish and a meat few dessert choices either which suggests fresh cuisine. Main course menu , dessert: 49 Euros . The waiter points out that if you only take one dish it will cost you 30 Euros. It is clear that the staff is asked to help the customer order the whole menu. Bar biscuit accompanied by shells and small vegetables in very good brunoise , pea can , the accompanying sauces were excellent as well as desserts , coffee served with delicious sweets . Nothing wrong perfect setting with views of the Garonne a feast for the eyes.
I especially enjoyed the Batak home tour. The tour guide and the driver were fun to talk with. Ma, Jua jua!

It was a group of 25 friends. We landed in Medan on a tuesday morning. We visited the oldest church , then checked into our hotel. In d evening we went to the oldest hindhu temple in Medan. The next day, we left the city to go to Lake Toba. The view of the lake as we scaled the hills was so breathtaking. Then we started to descend to come alongside the lake. It is the largest, natural fresh water lake in Sumatra. After lunch we took a boat to an island in the middle of the lake. There we were given an insight into the tribal lifestyle of its inhabitants. Another 45 minute back over the lake and a bus ride up to our hotel was indeed remarkable and unforgettable.

Views of danau toba and sipiso waterfall were amazing. And the hilly countryside driving journey with glimpses of the highlands living environment and culture, vegetation, farms, animals, people, abodes, a thousand private graveyards, a million church buildings, cool weather with light drizzle together with the explanations by Bambang (guide) and Ravee (driver) made the experience magical.

Eco is a good guide but not much into exercise. When I opted to walk down to the pool at the bottom of Sipiso Piso Waterfall, he stayed in the parking area. His explanations of the geography, history and eruptions creating Lake Toba were very interesting, and his knowledge of anthopology and history of the peoples on Sumatra is impressive. Great way to see outside of Medan in a day. Getting out of Medan was good and the scenery is wonderful. Guide and driver were excellent.
