Erbaut auf einer Klippe, der Kapelle von Sra. In Da Rocha können Sie die wunderschöne Küste und die Felsformationen bewundern. Auf dem Weg nach Westen erwartet Sie das Dorf Ferragudo, ein traditionelles Fischerdorf mit Blick auf die Mündung des Portimão. Nachdem Sie den Fluss Arade durch die alte Brücke überquert haben, haben Sie die Möglichkeit, von der Spitze des Aussichtspunkts Fort of Santa Catarina aus den Fluss, die Flussmündung und den langen Praia da Rocha zu betrachten. Wenn Sie in der charmanten Stadt Lagos ankommen, wird Sie eine optionale einstündige Bootsfahrt in Erstaunen versetzen, die unsere Touristen zu den Höhlen und Felsformationen von Ponta da Piedade führt. Auf dem prächtigen Vorgebirge von Senhora da Rocha befindet sich die Kapelle von Senhora da Rocha. Historischen Quellen zufolge war die Kapelle von einer alten Festung (15. Jahrhundert) umgeben, die die gesamte Küste zwischen Faro und Lagos beherrschte und die Bevölkerung und die Küste schützte. Die Festung wurde jedoch während des Erdbebens von 1755 zerstört.
Spazieren Sie durch die gepflasterten Straßen dieses malerischen Dorfes. Sie haben die Möglichkeit, auf den Hügel zum Aussichtspunkt der Hauptkirche Unserer Lieben Frau von der Empfängnis zu steigen (herrliche Aussicht für Fotos von Portimão City und dem Fluss Arade). Weiter geht es nach Praia da Rocha. Wir besuchen das Fort von Santa Catarina, um den Fluss Arade, seine Mündung und den berühmten Strand von Praia da Rocha zu bewundern. Ausgezeichnete Zeit, um anzuhalten und etwas zu trinken, bevor Sie nach Lagos fahren.
Bootsfahrt durch die beeindruckenden Höhlen und atemberaubenden Felsformationen von Ponta da Piedade. Ein Muss Erfahrung zu machen. Jahrhundert - ein einziges Stück Architektur). Lernen Sie den Arch of Saint Gonçalo Arch (ein historisches Tor zur Altstadt von Lagos) und die Statue desselben Heiligen kennen, wo Sie eine ideale Kulisse für Fotos genießen können (Meia Praia, Praia da Batata und das kleine Fort von Ponta) da Bandeira). Kurzer Besuch in Praia do Pinhão und Ponta da Piedade (wo Sie den Leuchtturm und die Klippen mit versteckten Stränden bewundern können).

Great tour of the Algarve’s coast including a small boat tour of the Bengil caves which entered all the caves . Lunch was exceptional as were the views from the cliffs. Johnny made the day comfortable informative but he was not intrusive and flexible with our group

We spent a lovely day with Johnny and saw the lovely sights that the Algarve coast had to offer. As soon as Johnny picked us up he said that the day was "about us" and that he would tailor the day around us. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and the history of the region and gave the impression that he is passionate about the subject and proud of his country. We very much enjoyed walking around Lagos with Johnny and will definitely go back and spend more time there in the future and would also like to explore the caves in that part of the coast and Johnny has offered to help us book that in the future. Johnny was the best private tour guide we had during our 2-week Portugal adventure. My friends and I booked this tour in advance of our visit to Algarve (there were six of us). Johnny arrived to pick us up at our hotel and we immediately knew it would be a fun day! He is warm, welcoming, and super knowledgeable. He customized the itinerary to make sure we didn’t overlap with anything else. We were going to see other days. He even booked us to see the Benagil caves as part of our day, which helped we had planned on doing on a separate day which helped consolidate our activities and allow more free time. He took us to so many breathtaking places and was so wonderful. I can’t recommend him enough. He also made recommendations for us as we continued our trip in Spain, which we took advantage of and were fabulous. you will not regret touring with Johnny!

Johnny gave us an excellent tour. We saw a stork farm (that's what we called it), quite a bit of fascinating coastline, and coastal boardwalks that gave great views. Johnny never rushed us and answered all of our questions. He has a great depth of Knowledge about the local environment, including problems with algae incursions, and local (Algarve) history.
We so very much appreciated Johnny's texts to us preceding our day tour. He carefully arranged a boat tour to Beagil caves - perfect time of day and operated by a courteous and informative crew that took us along the beautiful coastline and into spectular caves. Johnny's tour included a stop to see handpainted tile work - so pretty! and lunch overlooking a beautiful beach. We stopped at several amazing overlooks. Thank you, Johnny, for a wonderful day!
